I've had the exact same experience with Into The Radius. It just feels right, and everything works as it should. The immersion is off the scale thanks to it. This game is a real VR gem.
7:04 ... that one didn't age quite so well
This video is quite PAUSE: I'm sorry, skip down a line to see the full comment, but honestly, shaming people in the middle of a video is like my new favorite way to celebrate super fans. Okay, back to the comment.
....good.
Glad to see you playing the game Habie! I just got into it recently and have been loving it. Can confirm that every noise gets the blood racing when out exploring the wasteland.
This is the best VR game I’ve ever played, glad it’s getting the attention it deserves
Habie you always make me laugh even when I have a bad day I watch you and my day instantly gets better I love your streams keep up the amazing work man
I love how you find the most (kinda) underground games THAT ARE HIDDEN GEMS.
Has he talked about Cosmodread yet? Don't feel like it gets much attention and I've dumped dozens of hours into it. Feels rough when you first start playing, but once you get past the fear factor, it's an amazing rogue like where you get more powerful the more you play and die (or escape).
@@fen4554 I may need to play that thanks for the (sorta) recommendation
bro i found these videos to day and honestly i cant get enough... i mean the footage he uses makes his points the editing is amazing and the footage has like those moments of like pure shock and awe and funny moments that arent forced for content i love it!!
Thanks for the recommendation I've never had more fun organizing my room and talking to myself like a crazy person about plans and trips now only if I could stop getting harrassed by goop spiders and anomalies
*"Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 couldn't come fast enough"*
Ohh, you sweet summer child...
My condolences on BF2042. At least Halo Infinite delivered.
This game need so much more love and exposure than it gets. Top tier VR experience, even if it lacks a story or driving plotline.
Smooth brains rise up, habie posted again!
"Halo Infinite and battlefield 2042 cannot come fast enough"
Huh, that didn't age well
This was a great recommendation, I've loved playing every second so far.
I’m so glad you made a video on this game. I have enjoyed it for so long now.
YES FINALLY I LOVE THIS GAME
i hate it, but i must play it, i want the 2.0 Update
@@TheAllin5 no you dont, Beta 2.0 is out, and it is the end of this game. Say bye bye to the game being open world, and say bye bye to spending a reasonable amount of time in the radius (2+ days kicks you out, its called the tide) Anyway, devs killed the game, bye now!
@@VortexStolenName sad to hear this...
watching this after Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 released hurts me
"this thing looks awful when I put it in this cabinet. Can I put myself in this cabinet?" -> you don't need to you already look awful :P (jokes)
In my opinion all the AAA vr ports like fallout skyrim and hitman are just cash grabs.
i tried playing this and couldn't get past the tutorial.
if it was a while ago the tutorial has been rebuilt. i mean you still must have a pretty smooth brain if you couldnt get past it but it did used to be a bit of a pain.
@@bsimulator i work for your mom ayooo
"Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 could not come fast enough."
Dude... I'm so sorry.
"Halo infinite and Battlefield 2042 could not come fast enough" how disappointing
HABIE, I saw your comment on a Bo Burnham video and now I see at least one line in your songs that is a reference to his work and I half believe you are doing it just to screw with me. Nice vid, keep up the good work.
i think a great thing about Into the Radius is just how much it feels like you're surviving. It's one of the most immersive games for VR because it really does put you in the mindset of a survivor. You aren't very tanky, strong, or fast, and you're vulnerable, always looking over your shoulder, wondering "what sound was that?"
Habie, you are a gem of a human being. Love the content
0:59 im physically hurt that you didn't mention stalker
this game is coming to the quest in 3 days and i couldnt be more excited
In the next video he mentions never having heard of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.... HOW THE HELL DO YOU PLAY FALLOUT AND METRO EXODUS BUT HAVEN'T HEARD OF S.T.A.L.K.E.R?!?!
7:04 well that aged like milk
Silent Hill in VR would have shat my pants.
I'm soooo excited to see someone finally cover this game! If you have a version and want a good survival game I Highly recommend this game.
Ok, i'm a kid that watches memes like every day and I only get a laugh like once and you, my good sir help me get through the day your content is just immaculate and so funny I love it and I have no clue on how your not at 1 mill yet. keep it up my child and please for the love of god don't become cringe. PS. i NEVER leave a comment or leave a like and your the only one that gets that.
You my friend, just single handedly sold a copy of this game. I'm so in.
Habie is one of like 2 other youtubers i have notifications on
Keep up the good work man. You deserve to be a bigger RUclipsr from the work you put in and the quality. Love the content, can't wait to see more.
Wait what was so terrifying about that tape recording at 3:30!?!?
I appreciate how real you are. Also, a good thing happened to me right when I started watching your content so thanks for the vibes.
this was a really enjoyable review to watch, especially the special shout outs
His battlefield 2042 take aged horribly.
0:45 "Oh my God what is that?" Well, I don't know! But it sure reminds me of a Mimic! :)
One of my favourite RUclipsrs. Yet so modest my dude 😄😄
I had the EXACT same experience with this game! When I got it I had no clue what it was, or what it was about, and I dropped it a couple of times because of that. I would start playing, get confused, and quit. One day, I don't know why, I decided to just keep going and I am so so so so so happy I did. It's now my favorite game of all time. It's so damn immersive it's insane. But I think you really have to go into it with an open mind, and no preconceptions about what it is, or what it will be. That's for you to figure out.
Just have to say seeing you take the shell out of the holsters ON THE SHOTGUN and put it in is just satisfying to see.
The 4 VR games that made say goodbye to enjoying flatscreen games EVER again (opening Pandoras box of immersion) are Into the Radius, Resident Evil 4 VR, BoneWorks, and HL: Alyx
My brother once said in 2015 he will never try VR because its stupid gimmick, now after Radius he opened his eyes to understand VR is 100%, undoubtedly, without question the future of gaming. The non-believers have all been proven wrong 👊
Comments haven't loaded but I see that there is 13 of them. Wonder how many say first.
You should try contractors it’s a really good vr shooter, it’s like Pavlov and onward were mixed together
This game heavily reminds me of The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.
This game made me piss myself countless times.. but god *damn* is it fun
Your reviews on vr games are so in-depth and funny that they are the reason I own Pavlov and many other games keep up the great work I hope to see more videos
I finally got my smoothbrain blue shirt in the mail, love the design!! You are the first youtuber I've purchased merchandise for myself from, and I hope that makes you happy! Stay fun and cool habie
This channel deserves more subs. I wanna be here when you get famous.
Habie my side hurts from how much you make me laugh. I should probably get that checked out...
Thanks for the 'no-spoliers' approach to talking about this game.
Cheers!
In fact, it does feel like a 'I will hold your hand by making this video about this game' approach
Oh my god I cannot wait for you to experience a slider. *Please* upload the first time you see the bwamp boys to the second channel
I have no idea what any of that is, which excites me because that means there's more exciting stuff to see that hasn't been spoiled. Hopefully it happens on stream too
@@habie147 I won’t spoil anything, beyond that the first time I saw one, I nearly died irl. And that when you enter the swamp on the right middle of the map, *be prepared*
Thank you RUclips... this legend is amazingggggggg. Love you bro, keep up the great content!
A VR game I recently tried out that I'd recommend Habie, is SURV1V3. Tbh I didn't think it'd be any good, it looked like a knock-off 7 Days to Die in VR, but it ended up being incredibly good. Large campaign, open world co-op free roam survival with leveling, quests, looting, trials, bases, etc. You can even PvP if you want, but I never tried that since I'm more about surviving the zombie hordes, lol.
Older versions of radius look sooooo different
