- Green Hell VR is an amazing VR game. And I could not NOT document this 5 minutes of gameplay that will go down as the best part of Green Hell VR for me. Sure it's a great survival game, and surviving in VR is fun and all, but spiritual awakening gameplay is a whole different thing. i love Habie cause he has a purely "consumer" perspective. other channels dive into the vr business and development of games but Habie is simply "is this a fun game? cool."

Habie is really funny but BrandonFM puts out the most high quality VR content imo, when he uploads its always fantastic Their content is entirely different though

Oh man, Green Hell was such a blast to play with friends. Going from "I slept on the ground why is there a slug in my leg" to "DON'T FUCKING TAKE MY MOLINERIA PLANT NOOOOOOOO" is so good. Also, the voice line "Oh no, bad idea" when you eat rotten/raw food has become a staple meme in my friend group. Good times.

All those other VR channels put out content that dive into the technology of VR, its interactions with social lives, and the cutting edge of what's possible, but I only consistently come back to this channel because when it comes to VR, you feel like the one person out of that list who "gets it" in a way the average person can completely relate to and feel. I've also bought some of the VR games you have played since you, as just a casual player type of dude, somehow sell the games better than people actually doing reviews on the specific games. Honestly, there's this kind of desperation across the VR content space to hype everything up more than it really is or make a big deal of how theoretically awesome things could be, but the huge appeal of this channel is how much habie just keeps it real. When impressed, he really seems to be, when not, he isn't afraid to show it. The earnestness really puts this channel at the top.

Lol yeah this is actually pretty close to how you prepare DMT. it's two main ingredients but they can be from different plants. One is the DMT containing plant, and the other is a plant which protects the DMT from your stomach acid. Boil them together to brew tea. Nothing too complicated, shamans have done it for thousands of years.

I find it rather odd that lately I've been surrounded by mentions of Ayahuasca. Like there's even a VR video on Steam called Ayahuasca and it basically let's you join a ceremony with all the psychedelic affects you can (and can't) imagine. Now I really wanna give Green Hell a try.

The thing is, you are great content creator. you have this unique style of playing the game, but also describing the game in a funny way. Its a good mix of lets play and a review without being either. You earned your spot in the voting.

As a seasoned psychedelic user and someone who has personally broken through from freebasing dmt the colors and visuals are good except for the rainbow changing part but the dmt realms are pretty spot on except mine had a waiting room and it looked a lot more “electronic” for lack of a better word (it’s hard to explain) and there were doors everywhere along the walls and going up to the sky for as far as I could see and as those doors began to open almost rhythmically I could see a figure emerge and just as quick as it came it went and then it was over
There actually are people who shun the use of mushrooms and dimethyltriptine as party drugs and insist they're strictly for getting to know yourself better

As someone who's done psychedelics (in non-ego death dosages) I do truly wonder if some dev manages to semi-accurately translate the low to mid-dosage visuals of something like psilocybin/psilocin into VR. It would literally be one of the only ways some things could be ''shown'' to people in order for them to at least get a vague sense of what those visuals could look like without having to actually partake themselves. It'd still take away the generally undescribable headspace that stuff can put you in, but textures overlaying on things you see, objects becoming ''more 3D'' etc are all things that can actually be done in VR and make some sense - whereas seeing that stuff on a flat screen doesn't sell the effects at all. I hope some dev who's done this stuff too somehow makes it work ;p
Hell - eye tracking would *really* help with selling that idea as well. As low-mid level psychedelics tend do warp your visuals (or 'enhance') them mostly when staring at something, with you being able to basically reset your vision by just looking away and back again. Too bad I can't develop games/experiences. Would be quite interesting.

I did Ahayuasca. It was incredibly peaceful and had a lot of questions answered. Over all it improved my life. Just don't ever treat psychedelics like a fun drug as if it's a toy. Make sure you're prepared and have professionals around you.
First time I ever did DMT it was not a very high amount and I was camping in the woods at the time. I remember looking at the trees as they quickly changed colors much like in the game. I'd say thats pretty accurate for low doses at least.

Ayahuasca could, in theory, be as simple as 2 ingredients: a plant containing DMT, and a plant containing a monoamine oxidase inhibitor. Monoamine oxidase is the enzyme that breaks down... well, monoamines, such as serotonin, dopamine, as well as serotonergic drugs like DMT. I have no idea if more is added, traditionally
Honestly man. I find your VR content to be quite entertaining and easy to watch. I don't yet own a headset. I plan to. But, I get a little lost with what's what as far as good and supported accessories, that don't cost several entire paychecks. I hope you end up getting that award.
