I just started playing Into the Radius literally last night. Yeah it was pretty unsettling. But I never experienced it before this update to compare (except for one or two of your streams but watching in pancake mode isn't even close to the same). Unfortunately I don't think I can continue right now, the performance just isn't there on my old 1070 video card. Over 50% reprojection, even after turning down settings. And I don't want to do that. I also really don't want to buy current gen replacement at STILL above MSRP with next gen right around the corner. Also if anyone knows how to get the game arms to line up better with your real arms, let me know because I for the life of me can't grab whatever is on my arm slots. My controller impacts my real arm a good 6 inches above where the game puts the arm slot. Have similar trouble with two-handing the pistols. Handling doesn't work nearly as smoothly as Pavlov or Onward, I feel like I'm drunk.
You can set your height and arm length for your character in the settings. As long as you set it to your own size, the arm should line up 95% of the time.
I wish I had something other to say than I haven't had any of these problems, but unfortunately, I haven't. I've been playing on a 1060, and my game runs perfectly smoothly. My only real suggestion is turn down the graphics even more, as you shouldn't be having those problems. As for arm length, make sure you set your in-game height to the right amount, and turn on visible arms if you don't already. They'll never line up perfectly, but it shouldn't be that bad.
I didn't see the "visible arms" setting, I'll look for that. That will help a little. I did set my height properly, but I have absolutely no idea what my arm length is or what the measurement standard for that is (where do you start and stop the measurement), so I just left that default or clicked it up one or two notches from default since I'm quite tall. You'd think it could just measure how far your controllers are from your head. I guess I can just mess around with the setting and see if anything improves the arm slots thing. Performance wise: yeah I could turn down settings to make it acceptable, but I really, REALLY want the full impact playing this game. I'm willing to wait to get it I think. I've got other stuff in the meantime. Thanks all for the input.

Maaaan I wanna play this game so badly. Cool video Habie, it's getting me excited for the Quest release (even though this is obviously PCVR that you're showing) this game looks neat :D
It's funny to watch someone else get scared in ITR but it's terrifying, yet so much fun to experience yourself. This truly is my favorite VR game ever.
habie, buy the headlamp! it works even with the helmet or the gas mask on, it doesn't need to be recharged or repaired. it makes night much more bearable.
Have been playing the beta test for the Quest 2 version of this and am LOVING it. I generally suffer from VR motion sickness but the combination of 3D audio and a movement system that only feels like 'invisible skateboard' when you're running means I've been able to play this from a fully charged Quest 2 to 10% battery level non-stop. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Quest 2 port Habemeister!
This is my fav VR game. The sound design already scared the shit out of me. I actually turn it down a bit just to play it because I do not really like being scared but everything else about this game is so legit.
Pobeda Factory has pretty much always been dangerous, there's always a large group of mimics patrolling the east side of the map between those large buildings.
I know the feeling when habie said at 3:07 when he said “but then we got to the factory, and things started feeling different” my first time in factory was a shit show of me begging for forgiveness
I got this game after watching your videos and holy crap is this game good.... And terrifying.. do not forget terrifying. They added the voices a little after I started playing so I didn't expect it and it freaked me out
Nothing quite like running out of loaded ammo and panic refilling your weapons with shaking hands in the small alcove you sprinted to as you hear the armoured shadow people creeping up to your hiding place to kill you. I’m shocked more people haven’t heard of this game, it’s rough but great.
I got the game a long while now and I recently started playing it. After 1 mission, I have to say, this game is SO TENSE and I love it. I did had to take a break after the tutorial and 1st mission. I'm definitely playing it again.
Tips for going into the factory: -don’t until you have armor -i recommend waiting until you have +P ammo and at least AP if you really have to. -take your time, like really, if tide is a concern, go earlier. -the quarry area is a b***** -the load out that worked for me is MP5 and OC33 with lots of ammo, again with armor -use a headlamp, it’s just godly. -smoke cigarettes after tense encounters. Irl or not, idk which smooths your nerves out. -avoid factory in general. -factory is only worth it finding weapons, some extra artifact runs. -actually maybe it’s fun. -factory is fun. -the quarry in it isnt
This update also added the ability to reload the ak-47 by flicking out the current mag with a new mag which almost offsets how terrifying everything is now by making me feel like a badass

I can't believe that all this time I've been subscribed, I've been watching Florida Man. It all makes so much more sense now.
Absolutely love these videos. New to VR and laughing as I learn.
Keep up the epic videos. 💪😃👍
I learned the audio thing in the best way, I played fnaf vr with Rush music playing, and then YYZ started and the tension went way up
Heard this getting ported to quest 2 standalone and release sometime in September so excited!!!
He's back! So glad to see you again!
Yes! I’ve been waiting for another video of this!
So amazing seeing a passionate developer making something S.T.A.L.K.E.R started while still making something fresh and new.
2:53 I think he was talking about preferred oatmeal consistency
thanks for the awesome video habie , always love to see ur stuff
That escape from monsters looked like what my tarkov experience would look like
its already my favourite vr game and they just keep making it better
Wow this game is amazing. Vr games are evolving fast
The heavy breathing of pure distress really sells it
I know the feeling when habie said at 3:07 when he said “but then we got to the factory, and things started feeling different” my first time in factory was a shit show of me begging for forgiveness
I only started Watching your channel like 4 days ago but I have been loving your content keep up the good work hapie
Big iron becoming a running gag would make my smooth brain so happy
In one area, if you don’t have a flashlight, you can hear footsteps running towards you when it’s dark.
Dude I really love your videos! keep um coming
I got the game a long while now and I recently started playing it. After 1 mission, I have to say, this game is SO TENSE and I love it.
I did had to take a break after the tutorial and 1st mission. I'm definitely playing it again.
5:17 the fact he was wasting ammo on fragments makes me die inside.
i bought itr a week or two ago because of your videos thanks for the great recommendation habie!!
Tips for going into the factory:
-don’t until you have armor
-i recommend waiting until you have +P ammo and at least AP if you really have to.
-take your time, like really, if tide is a concern, go earlier.
-the quarry area is a b*****
-the load out that worked for me is MP5 and OC33 with lots of ammo, again with armor
-use a headlamp, it’s just godly.
3:18 me playing paintball
9:41 this should be a full edit😂
These update review vids are amazing man
