I use a c-clamp that's got a twistable part to get into Fami carts. I never was able to open them with quick grips. There's a bit more that can be done to games that have corrosion on the pins. Hopefully this cartridge can still be revived in the future.

A pink eraser works great to clean corroded contacts.... Got a dragon par from free from a game store that had worst pins than this one and I cleaned it with an eraser and got it going again.

Famicom games are bad for wearing through the traces where the two halves of the shell come together on the PCB. I bet that's part of the problem
