    I'm a neo caridinia kind of guy myself. but this was a good guide. You did make me laugh when u said "then why do you always die in my aquarium" ha ha. Good luck for future videos.

    Gosh I love this video so much. I learned a lot about these cuties and had to laugh at basically every joke, even somethimes having to rewind a bit because I missed something due to laughing so hard. I have been wanting to get into caring for shrimp and these little guys have always caught my eye!!! Can't wait for my tank to establish!!!

    What shrimp are good for a beginner to add some colour bigger would be better to see as my eyesight is fading

    • @BobMossNanoTanks
      @BobMossNanoTanks  Год назад

      Cherry shrimp are the go to. Cheap, easy and still relatively good colours. Anything else is just expensive fish food.

    I get excited every time I see those blue bolts. Awesome shrimp. When I tell people that some breeders make good money with shrimp (after explaining that you don't eat them), I'll just pull up Vin's site. Really funny to watch them process someone spending hundreds or thousands on a shrimp.

    • @BobMossNanoTanks
      @BobMossNanoTanks  2 года назад +1

      Some of the prices are pretty insane. I won't pay more than probably $20 for the right shrimp.

    • @jakefwtx4214
      @jakefwtx4214 2 года назад

      @@BobMossNanoTanks I would be willing to drop big time grown up money on some shrimp if I was serious about breeding for profit and if I could actually keep a shrimp alive for it's entire lifespan. We sold our home earlier this year to downsize a bit and made some profit. I floated the idea of some premium Vin shrimp for breeding, but got shut down. Garbage.

    • @BobMossNanoTanks
      @BobMossNanoTanks  2 года назад +1

      @@jakefwtx4214 buy cheaper ones to start, build a customer base, then buy more expensive ones. if you go all in from the start you'll never get out of the red.

    • @jakefwtx4214
      @jakefwtx4214 2 года назад

      @@BobMossNanoTanks Realistically, I don't think I'd bother trying to breed shrimp for profit unless I had another thing to piggyback them from. Market saturation is too much here, plus I already live like an hour from Papa Shrimp. I do have a couple other aquatics ideas but I need some things to work out and settle down before I try. Maybe someday I'll make some you tube videos about it and we can team up against Aquarium Info.

    I didn't know about the antenna length difference from Male to female . That explains how the breeders on Ebay seem to olways ship mostly male shrimp when i bye them . As you can use this method when the shrimp are babes to sex Excellent video with the best top tip iv seen in years 👍👍👍
