Are the blue steels good for breeding anything or just breeding steels together? I get some out of my boa line very rarely. Snow white tail, body, and very nice blue head with white dots.
It really depends on their genetics. Some blue steels have crazy blue genes with traits to throw multiple colors that can be passed onto other crosses. Also you can get green pigments from steels as well.
would you cross female TT to male BB or female BB to male TT or does it matter? I had a few acquaintces that did it but lost their contact, thanks! @@thegardenofeder
Eder, thanks for this video. About BB... why normally we see some pieces of blue bolt together in purple metallic tanks ? What BB improve the purple ones ?
This is good info. Im working on a blue bolt line aiming for extreme blue bolt with good coverage (still some white tails in the colony). Would you recommend aiming for a GH of 6 for this project?
good to know they can change their color. when I first bought mine I didn't know you want more blue, I thought you wanted more white like crystal shrimp... yeah I'm a dumbass. anyway one of my BBs is almost completely white - I definitely remember NONE of my shrimp being that white.
Thank you Grant for defining these blues. Now we know which one is the OG & the Wanna Bee. 😆
Anytime glad I can do them justice

Which are the larger shrimp to keep in the caradina family?
Amanos?

Caridina
Red bolt vs red steal
Maybe one day but it's basically the exact same situation
@@thegardenofeder ok I have a red blot but after watching the video I think it's more of a steal

Is it possible to keep these types of Taiwan Bees (the more high end ones) in CO2 tanks?
Yes however the co2 makes it more risky. Say you run out of co2 or you Gass to much and the ph swings you can lose them.
I been looking into getting shrimp 🦐🦐
If you like blue a great starter into shrimp wild be blue diamond Neocaridina 😊
Always here if you have any questions getting started
