Thank you leon, this video is great because of you. You are very professional and you do very good job. It’s an honour to be part of your RUclips channel 🙏🏻
Honestly, this is one amazing video, ill never get a chance to visit sg in my life but living through your awesome video footage and interviews is great. These are very hugh quality shrimp, in canada we are many years behind in high end shrinp. Great work and cant wait till yoyr next videos
@@nchn8198 Hey, I don't use Slog it's too much hassle to colour grade, you can if you know how to do it. I simply use a standard profile. When you film shrimp try to use a lot of light, adding some extra light is always good! F stops as high as possible 7-9 is ok to have more focus area. ISO is as low as possible below 2000. Sutter speed should be double your frame rate 50 for 25 fps, 60 for 30 and so on
These shrimps are next level, in Europe Kevin works with Yukishrimp, they got all his assortiment and can provide them for a fair price. Owner of yukishrimp has been trained and working with Kevin for years, he is a true master breeder. I am expecting them in a few weeks, cant wait! Also Yuki has the perfect food and is always willing to advise on setup.
What I found most interesting is when Kevin talked about the giant tank at the last part of the video. Firstly, he is testing Jun Master soil with some success. It's decently cheap in Singapore, I might use it for my future tank. Secondly, he's using UGF connected to a canister filter, that's a novel idea! Gonna need to head down to his store one day and talk to him about this setup.
I am curious about his bacterial powder, lubao feeder bags, recipe and process.... Seems like the food he uses works great and doesn't foul the water. @12:40 Anyone have tips on the food?
I wonder if he got the chance to ask him about the nitrate levels with the Lubao bags and what he thought, he seems to love them but also comes with side effects 😮
@@SimplyAquaticCT It is 16-35, if you buy it make sure you get Mark II, it has a closer focus distance that works way better to film the shrimp. I just upgraded from Mark 1 and it's a huge difference for me
@@ShrimpMania Ah okay that's the secret, I still have the MK1 and it just doesn't deliver the same results. I'm also considering the 90mm Macro however for the close ups 😬
@@SimplyAquaticCT Mark I still work ok, I did a Shrimps Affair video with it and it was ok for vloging and filming shrimp at the same time. But that 5cm shorter distance on Mark II gives you a better result. Yes, I used 90mm for macro. In this video Kelvin also filmed his shrimp with his Canon 100mm macro lens, I think it does a better job than sony 90mm, the orange boas macros made on the canon and they look very sharp and it can get a bit closer
@@ShrimpMania amazing, thanks for sharing the info! I have also used the canon 100mm a few years ago and it's a fantastic lens, but like you I'm a sony guy 😬😄
