Great info. The scale look of the TRX4 Blazer is what brought me out of a 30 year RC break. I guess I would give up the ultimate rock crawler for fun realistic looking trucks. For plain fun and non competion use there are plenty of good looking truck I want.
I’ve got the TRX4 Assembly Kit with the Proline Chevy K10 body. Had to take the fender wells off and get the TRX4 sport shock mounts in order to fit the body. I got the bumpers, door handles, whippers and mirror for the Chevy blazzer and put them on. Also used a front end bumper mount on the rear, flipped both to raise the bumpers and a slight trim on the front wheel wells to fit pitbill 1.9s. Lastly I added some aluminum rock sliders to finish off the look.
Have a TRX4 Tactical. Got the lift kit, and shortened the frame a few inches and put the proline Jeep Wrangler body on it. Also extended the axels and added brass to the front end to keep it down. Looks really good and crawls really well. Cutting the frame allowed me to tuck metal bumpers into the body, just had to shave some of the body to fit the bumpers. Looks great!
I like that nice in between Hard plastic and full lexan body that are designed to have hard plastic detail like the Traxxas Bronco/Blazer or the proline Metric vs say bodies that just have stickers for grill & headlights
Another good video. I’m currently working on an HPI FJ Cruiser body for my TRX4 chassis kit to make a mini version of my full size FJ. It fits great after trimming down the TRX4 wheel-wells..it drops right into place and will allow it to be magnet mounted. It’s still clear and needs to be painted and detailed but I’m leaving it clear until I build a floor for the interior.
Just got into crawling. Awesome vids, it helped me choose capra. I want to build my next rig but nobody makes a Jeep TJ/LJ body. Everything is now just JK/JL/JT. I want one to match my actual jeep!
Drives my buddy nuts haha if you look for "new bright jeep wrangler" on ebay, you will find walmart brand rcs with TJ wrangler bodys, they can be modified to work.
I'm stuck on the Axial 2000 Jeep Cherokee body, the main reason is I drive a real 2000 Cherokee every day, I prefer trail running so scale looks is what I am going for. I can live with the weight up higher than a crawler would want because I an simulating what I can do with the real Jeep.
I like the Chevy Blazer and the International Scout bodys but like you said there top heavy so I have been thinking of going to low profile bodys maybe a car body [ ya I know that is out there ] ....your series is one of the best to watch I always learn something new each and every time...
Great video, just fitted an mst jp1 body on my scx10ii, look like it will perform really well. Sitting very low on chassis compared to the cfxw chassis, 215 grams painted with all the accessories fitted.
Awesome tips, dude. Thanks a lot! 😊 Only one thing you didn't mention: pieces to add details, like fire extinguishers and so on... And they can be 3d printed. 😉
Hi love video , I’ve got a hip crawler king with a Jeep body shell and I’m looking for a new body shell . Your information has really helped me in my search
I love the old cheve body's and I have one on my trx4 lexan, I've painted it too look like engine oil 🛢 😅 and it looks amazingggggg 😂 Also the driver is ghost rider got alot of scale parts in the bed 🛌 like an oil 🛢 drum and gas ⛽️ tanks a spade and a chainsaw 😂 best build I've ever done. Running a 2in1 1800 brushless motor and old proline wheels and new proline comp tires white dot. And custom brash links high clearance and a cupple of brass parts on the axles and one for the bumper holder. I love this build so much a such good proforma on the rocks 🪨 at comps, only thing I am thinking about doing to this build now is putting wear wheel stearing. Also works amazing for trail walks it has no over drive as I don't like it that much but the only time I do over drive is when I comp it and the winch goes on as well for comps 😂 😂😂
Awesome video as always, I'm working on my first hard body and I got to say it's a different experience than lexan, I'm not done yet but I'm really enjoying it.
Hi, your videos are becoming a problem for me. My newfound interest in the hobby started with me getting an SCX24 for my five and a half year old son. I decided to get one for me too, so we could have that as a thing we do together. Now I want a TRX4 for trailwalking and he wants a monster truck.. This is getting out of hand.. haha. I really appreciate your videos!
Some of the hard bodies are pretty awesome looking. That LC70 is great, so are some of the Jeep JKs (not my style, but appreciate good work). As is the Blazer body that (I think) RC4WD makes. As far as lexan, a ton are cool! Almost overwhelmed by choice! I find myself leaning toward cab and rear cage look. I will say I like any body that has actual head and tail light lens and buckets over stickers. Even if I never run LEDs, it gives a better look.
Great Video! I prefer my trucks to look realistic. I'm not much of a crawler but more of a trail guy. :) I'm currently driving a tr4 sport with a few scale details such as the expedition rack, snorkel and some inner fenders to keep the rig "clean" from the inside. :)
Here is one which is very scale and detail but I personally find it a bit heavy for crawling. www.rcmart.com/hard-plastic-body-313mm-324mm-axial-scx1011-traxxas-trx4-p-82393.html?cPath=438_1660
Another AWESOME tutorial, Francis! 👋👋👋👋 You haven't been on long, but what I've gathered so far is, you lean more towards pure Comp Crawling Rigs. I've seen you sacrifice Scale, for pure performance. NOBODY is wrong in these categories!! You did well to emphasize "What do YOU want in a Body". Let's face it, we all want slightly different things!! 😉 Myself, I'm allergic to Body Posts and Clips! 😜 Also, Blacked Out Windows!!! 😠😠 REDCAT AND TRAXXAS - *JUST because you've sold so well,* DOESN'T mean you're the go-to Authority!!! You're the NEW Guys. Let me tell you - *BLACKED OUT WINDOWS = TOY GRADE!!!* Period. STOP! Body Pins have been a Bane since the early 80's. It's convenient. That's IT!! 😒 ONLY in the past few years, have "Stealth Mounts", or Bodies that DON'T HAVE FOUR HOLES drilled in them to mount the Body onto the Chassis.... *Until Car Companies start DRILLING 4 three inch holes in their Bodies, to mount with 14" Clips......* IT AIN'T REAL AND SCALE!!! 😖😣 SMH Surprisingly, of the "new Cool kids", only REDCAT has introduced NO HOLE Bodies, with the 2016 release of the Gen 7 Pro, and later with the Gen 8!! 👍👍😎 Traxxas - ZERO. Element - ZERO MST - ZERO. Vaterra - only the Twin Hammers. Axial - only the UMG-10, Bomber, YETI and Wraith. (Their SCALERS, SCX10 and SCX10 II - ZERO!) 😖 CrossRC and Capo - NOT A BODY CLIP IN THE LINEUP!! VANQUISH - $750 and UP Rigs - *ALL HAVE PINS AND CLIPS!!!* 😠😠😒 Really?? Contrary to popular belief - SCALE IS NOT SUBJECTIVE! SCALE looks like the REAL thing!!! Or it's NOT Scale. 😲 Yes, this was another one of my infamous Rants... But not a pointed attack at any single Company or Product. It represents a combined Rant - AND Concern, from the STILL LARGE, Legit Crawler and Scaler Trail Truck Communities. Long Overdue CHANGES are wanted AND Needed!!! U THANKS for another relevant Video!! Carmine ✈🚂🚙
The hpi venture is my dream body right now I got the gen pro 7 i did like that Aluminum cool about how'd it keep history i would really like to see how to take windows from black to clear either way keep up with the awesome videos
Great video, very informative again. Next one about interiors? Looking for an interior for my trx4 sport... greetings from Belgium! One tip... Place your laptop above the camera and keep a mouse on your desk... ;)
The vanquish scout work well with traxxas chassis?? Wich better weight balance or performance between traxxas blazer and vanquish scout body??? Thanks so much!!!
dropped a 49 power wagon cab on a trx4 lots of work c/w full driver pedals dash etc looks good but body sits high front fender to top of tire is 2 1/2 in. now I want to drop my trx4 defender body on my slash 4x4 running gear look real cool don't know might be heavy maybe way to fast break things
Just had an idea. You need to make a 1/10 scale driver figure that looks like you. Maybe 3D printed or what ever. Sell them and make some money. I would love to have you drive my crawler.
I NEED HELP!!! BIG TIME. I have the Injora Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4 door with the open top and roll cage. No hard top. I really, really want one. I've scoured the internet for one and as far as I can tell, nobody sells one. Nobody. Do you have any ideas besides purchasing a new one?
Could you possibly suggest me a couple good 12.8 inch wheelbase bodies preferably a pickup truck square body but if that's not on the market or available I would take other suggestions as well
My favorite crawler body is the Proline Ford F-250 Cab with the Proline Back-Half Cage. I also have a Proline Overland Roof Rack and 4" & 2" Lightbars. There are also scale accessories from FireBrand RC that are mounted on the Back-Half Cage. Check out my channel to see it.
4:07 I suggest one only wants clear windows if one is prepared to detail the interior to include a driving figure (aka driver). And even then, if the steering wheel is not activated with an electronic or mechanical servo reverser all can be for nought.
The Problem is more to get the Chassis you want. I.e. Landrover LR4 there is simply nothing, also for other Brands. So you see the same Chassis over and over again.
Don't like lexan, prefer hard body or making my own. Not in competitions or into Scale do my own thing. So weight is not factor and more fun when you do your own thing,😎🤘
NOT informative.. just admiring a specific collection.. just into the real information and don't be afraid to tell the bad news.. which is you CAN'T have everything. Beating around the bush knowing it could cost someone thousands of dollars is NOT cool!

nice video, nice specialized shirt.
Gracie. That shirt is actually a dryfit. Great riding jersey!
My dream body is a Ford ranger with a canopy but my crawler doesn't have body mounts tall enough, I got the axial scx II
Great channel and very good info. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!

Underrated channel. Keep it up!
But without the laptop blocking everything.

Wish there was a body for the SCX10 III Gladiator.
I've been looking for a hard shell body for my SCX10 iii. any recomendations?
I thought for sure this would be a “not safe for work” topic! 😆
Another good review !
Valuable suggestions !
I have trx4 bronco what’s a good body that works with the wheel wells.. thanks and great vids
Could you possibly suggest me a couple good 12.8 inch wheelbase bodies preferably a pickup truck square body but if that's not on the market or available I would take other suggestions as well
Its the difference between look hard body or performance soft cases.
Everything is everything
Off subject: What do you think about the $150 Panda Tetra (2 lipos included) RTR as an inexpensive crawler? Thanks for your thoughts!
My dream body is probably Rachel Starr, Kendra Lust or Krystal Steal when they were in their prime of course brah 👍
Haha. Not in their current state of course. :)
@@RCReviewChannel

proline Jeep rubicon Best body for trx4. 200gr. Greetings from Uruguay.
Which brand is the Chevy blazer?
I'm shy to show my body..
my favorite body would be a ford escape from 2005 becuz...have you seen one before? like, its so odd and i like beeing the odd one
What bodies would fit the element trailwalker? Thanks!
It's all about wheelbase compatibility and this one is the 12.3". So pretty much everything out there will work for this. Just check the wheelbase.
once again great, thank you
Hardbody everything
You didn't mention battery compartments and location. Sort of important for stability.
That is part of the chassis, not the body.
“My body is ready”
I wouldn't mind having a hard body either I just don't know what's on the market and have looked and haven't seen much at all
im staring at that red body on the bottom left... what is that i need it
❤️❤️❤️❤️
dose anyone know of a jeep comanche body that will fit a traxxas trx-4?
I have the Tactical trx4
What body for the trx6?!? For a real crawler use..

I'm looking for a 110 69 Dodge Charger Hardbody
Traxxas 79 bronco body is WAY TOO HEAVY.
I don't care if it's scale all I care about is if it looks cool
Right on. That's what's cool about the hobby. Many different directions that appeal fo folks.
Dude, next time put a curtain in Front of the cam.
What?
Don't like lexan, prefer hard body or making my own. Not in competitions or into Scale do my own thing. So weight is not factor and more fun when you do your own thing,😎🤘
Wheelbase is way too easy to change to let that be a deciding factor.
I have the easiest way to clear the windows. I have the video on how to
Mercedes Sprinter body!
You want to see MY body? Well, you might be disappointed, it only has one axle. 🤔😆
Shake that body then!!

Get that fckin laptop out of the way. It should be to the side if you want to read your lines.
Yes sir. Done now in the last 100 videos. Learned our lesson.
