The first time this aired in 1996, I was 14 years old and I screamed “FINALLYYY!!!!!!” at 10:34 and the moment was ingrained into my memory for eternity. Bless this show ♥️
delenn: Captain , do you trust me? Sheridan : wit my life Delenn: do you love me? Sheridan: allways Delenn: will you steal a Space station for me? Sheridan: 🙄🙄😮😮😮😵😵😵
"War Without End" essentially two closed circles. The most obvious at the time of its airing was Sinclair "returning to the beginning" by going back in time with Babylon 4 to become Valen. The other was future Delenn warning Sheridan not to go to Z'ha'dum. Thinking that could save Centauri Prime from devastation, he goes to Z'ha'dum, which ends up shortening his life. So Delenn warns him not to go to Z'ha'dum at a time when he only has four years to live.
Wow, I didn't remember Delenn saying the same thing I discovered after becoming a parent. On day, I just realized, that there would be a time when I would put down my son and never pick him up again. It would be an unremarkable moment. That passes without notice, as inconspicuous as the next, but it would rob us both of something special. Time is a bastard....
The music that starts at around 6:50, does anybody know what it's called or where one could get it as a clean track? Been looking for it but haven't found anything :/
Sheridan & Delenn should of got it on in season 2, his ex wife Anna was nuts, at least Delenn was loyal, a Minbari falling for a human, no racism here, love conquers all, Epic stuff
Sheridan saw his future with Delenn and knew they will have a son so why the surprise when Delenn got pregnant in S5? That's the one thing that always bothered me. He thought he really changed the future by going to Zha'haDum? He told Delenn about that jump forward in time to Centuri Prime so he remembered all of it. So not possible.
Even if he DID change the future it should not have surprised him. Because his surprise was about the fact that Delenn was able to get pregnant by him at all. It wouldn't necessarily have to be the exact same child they would eventually conceive.
But in the episode, they did say that they had had the tests and Franklin wasn’t sure if she would be able to carry, it could have been that Sheridan thought that their child would be an adoption so even though he knew they had a child, it didn’t necessarily mean biologically. And also, in the time jump, he had his own memories, not those of his older self so he wouldn’t know if David was biologically theirs or not. If anything, I think it was the tests that threw him off. He knew they had a child but not how and after having the tests, Franklin not being sure if it was possible or the effect it would have on her, he must of thought they would do it another way. Also, while he was in shock of the news, he also has Franklin telling him about complications for her and while she is mentally strong and has a strong spirit, her body isn’t and this could kill her. So I am not surprised at all that all of those memories went out the window.
I know its just a show but when Sheridan confronts Delenn about his wife being alive his reaction is a tad harsh and he acts like a love sick child But as I say just a story but he is incredibly naive and unfair towards delenn as its written anyway despite at the time Melissa Gilbert being his off screen real wife and doing this show for far less than her usual fee for acting but I still have fond memories about 40 years ago watching and reading Little House on the Prarie but your right it is one of the best on screen love stories ever written Just shows JMS as great a writer as he is and Babylon 5 as the best space saga ever written its just so memorable so the new reboot as sad as it is to leave this one behind means better CGI and hopefully we will see the actual inside of Babylon 5 especially those fields and farms we only get glimses of though CGI is pretty tremendous in this series I think a new reboot is better than nothing and I look forward to seeing how well it is achieved especially for one who misses this show since it ended
The most gut wrenching revelation in the whole show is that Delenn's father died of a broken heart at the idea of his people committing genocide. A genocide that Delenn herself ordered...Absolutely soul crushing.
An epic power couple, galactic chosen ones, true equals, intelligent and strong leaders, compassionate, selfless, and beautiful. I ADORE THEM SO MUCH.

I'm watching this show for the first time, and I did exactly the same thing 😅
What episode is this?
Is there anything quite so amazingly delightful as Delenn when she is smiling? To say she could light up a room isn't exaggerating by much!
Delenn is just adorable.
Sheriden and Delenn. The greatest television romance of all time.
Goodbye Mira, RIP you will be missed, but always remembered
delenn: Captain , do you trust me?
Sheridan : wit my life
Delenn: do you love me?
Sheridan: allways
Delenn: will you steal a Space station for me?
Sheridan: 🙄🙄😮😮😮😵😵😵
The guard on the right was checking Delenn out. He's lucky Sheridan didn't catch that or he'd be spaced!
