Hey guys! Considering how popular my last military spouse advice video was, I knew that I really had to make a part two video! This video is all about life when in garrison, including why you need to spend quality time together, making other military wife friends, and how to keep your house and life running smoothly when things get stressful. I wish you the best of luck!

The great thing about it making friends as a military spouse in you will make friends in different parts of the world. My wife made friends in Germany and Hawaii. We had friends waiting for us in Hawaii that we know in Germany. It is hard at first, but it is only a matter of time.

My husbands leaving for basic tomorrow and both of your videos were super helpful! I didn’t even think about the fact that you only get a certain size truck to move all your things in so now I can work on narrowing down what I need and what to toss while he’s gone. Also thanks for the heads up about being your own advocate when it comes to getting what you are owed I haven’t heard anyone talk about that and just entering into this world as a spouse you don’t really know what you can or can’t do.

Hey love! I am grateful for the content! My fiancé has decided and is in the process of applying for the military and I've been worrying about our future set up. His goal now is to make it to the Spaceforce and I am a doctor in another country aiming to live and train in the US. Do you know if "Guardians" (i think thats what people in the spaceforce are called?) move as much as those in the other branches of the military? Because I need to train for 4 years in a hospital and ofc i wont be able to move around with him 😔 do you know of other mil spouses who dont live/move with their partners? And hows that going for them? Much love!

Hi there! I am going to be honest, I don't know much about the Space Force because it is so new. If I had to guess they wouldn't move as much because I am not sure if there are many duty stations for Space Force members to go. I do know of some spouses who don't live with their partners for reasons like yours or because it just doesn't make sense at the time. It is hard but they know it's temporary so they are getting along just fine.

Is it true that Marines deploy for 7 months come home then deploy again? My partner is going to commission as a pilot and super scared about being apart for the majority of our relationship

Hi there, it depends on what their job is and what kind of unit they are at! I know Marines that deploy every three years and others that deploy every year. I am not sure what it is like for pilots, however. I would try to find other wives to ask who are married to pilots. I do know that training is incredibly long for Marine Corps pilots (it seriously takes years) so if you and your partner are serious I would recommend getting married before they go off to training. Otherwise it could be hard to see them!
