Thanks for your honesty and telling your story! We find military families find it hard to locate resources. It’s about keeping on promoting them so they are aware ! I’m a military kid (and spouse) and we have created children’s books for military children- it’s so important children have access to further supports, especially when a parent is deployed. ❤ would love to connect ! 🎉

military girlfriend here!! it’s been really hard he just left for basic in tx 2 days ago and i’m struggling. we have a baby on the way and it sucks he can’t be here for appointments and my belly grow. im looking forward to moving with him though!

My boyfriend is currently at BMT in TX. Your videos have helped me so much! Steve and I have been together for almost 4 years now and I’m so afraid about how our lives are going to change. I am a RN in CT working my dream job. He will be in tech school in Mississippi for (something relating to radar I think). How have you managed staying true to your dreams while still supporting your husband? Steve is very honest about wanting to get married and I want that to. I just feel like we can’t have the best of both worlds.
My husband is finishing AIT rn and we'll be 4 yrs married this month. We've been living w/ my parents this whole time because I was finishing grad school and then covid. I'm excited for us to be out on our own, but also worried about changed and my career moving forward. 🙃
My husband just started tech school (space force) and he is on the other side of the country for the next 4 months and I’m STRUGGLING

Fun fact we actually had Guam but it had to be changed because of endless typhoons which sucks because Guam is beautiful & I was really looking forward to being a island girl but hey like you said we women have no control😂

I’m away from my fiancé right now while he’s in tech school, his first duty station is Alaska & I’ll be going with him once we get married after he graduates tech school in July, I was wondering if any one could tell me how long it takes for you to be able to join your spouse wherever they are once you’re married?
Hey🤍 It depends on housing honestly. It took us MONTHSSS🙄 but once you’re on his orders it speeds up the process. So once you guys get married, he will put you on his orders and get the process started. I would say just make sure they’re clear, cause they had me and my husband doing the run around cause misinformation. But if you have any questions you can also call On base Housing🤍 do you know if you’ll be at Eielson?
I think he’s going to be at elmendorf or something like that so we’ll be stationed in anchorage, but we are going to get married in July while he’s home for raps for about 2 weeks. I just hope it doesn’t take TOO long for me to get there & we’re planning to live off base because we have a dog that would be classified as a “dangerous breed” so we just think living off base would be a lot easier for us
About how many months did it take you guys? I’m just so ready to be in a different scenery honestly I’m so sick of Louisiana even tho I love my city & things of that nature I’m ready to go lol!

It was super hard for me as well, the best thing that helped me was staying busy and finding a hobby and staying communicated with my husband whenever. And just remember it’s hard on both sides so when you guys talk, focus on the positive it really helps🤍🫶🏾
