Ford mondeo mk4 front drop links, how to.

Ford mondeo mk4 front drop links, so after doing the wishbones on the Mk4 and trying to undo the front drop links the top ball joint was just spinning in its socket and then the nut was stuck so mole grips/vise grips on the back to hold the ball joint in place while i put a buzz gun on the nut and this removed the nut with ease.
This job was fairly easy to do and only took about 15 minutes to do each side.

I've just tried my front left mate and the top part where the Allen key goes in is rounded off! But becsuse it's still sat tight to it I can't get mole grips onto anything behind it! Any ideas please??? Thanks

Hiya, the only other thing i would do is angle grinder and cut the nut off.

@@ChazzCoombes I ended up managing to get behind it with flat long nose moul grips, after drying all the grease off behind there it didn't slip lol
