The fast pass-by shots are the exact way to do those....no telephoto/zoom on the approach, and the camera pans along with the train passage just right. Need to concentrate on those, though, the arrivals/waits/departures are too boring. And why the still shots towards the end???
First, Shinkansen at Tokaido line (it opened in 1964) is aging so maglev is back up in case something happens. Second, shorter travel time. Currently Tokyo to Nagoya with Shinkansen takes 1:22 minutes. Maglev will cut down to 40 minutes. Third, In the future they trying make three major city(Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka) into one big metropolitan area.
Bravo Japan... master in technology

Yes I think Japan has a big High-speed track system gg. Germany can learn from Japan. The tracks here are old.
Great pics what kind of camera do you use?
I’ m only use an IPhone
very small windows, why? in Europe windows are big
lucian Your going 400+ km an hour I imagine there is some structural risk in large windows.

Wow, I am impressed! Great country, grat railway system. They have such beautiful and powerful trains, but why why they build now a maglev line?
