Stumbled across your site and I think it is one of the best and most informative site for helicopters. I like the fact you constantly tell people that these helicopters are not toys. Safety first and always. Looking forward to your future vids as I have subscribed. Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
I think a lot of guys will buy this as their first rc heli, simply because it's the famous Airwolf, from tv. They probably don't know it's a Bell 222. I have the FlyWing B206 Jet Ranger V3, it's my first rc. I only found out about that one whilst watching Bell Jet Ranger videos, as it's my favourite heli. I got super excited when I saw the FlyWing! Imagine an Airwolf fan doing that and also seeing the rc FlyWing Airwolf that THEY could fly! A lot of videos for this heli just promote the 'easy to fly for a beginner' A very good video here Mike with very important facts and thoughts. Happy new year to you from England.
A very good video that confirms my suspicions after my crash! But I ask you: if a belt loses its teeth without warning after a very short time and despite being checked before and after every flight, whose fault is it? Something like that cannot be and must no longer be sold. The Airwolf is a faulty design that is just waiting to fall from the sky. Fellow pilots, don't buy the Airwolf!
I do understand your frustration and maybe I have been lucky. As I mentioned, of the thousands that have been sold, some people have been unlucky. I believe that Flywing consider this a wear and tear item and therefore no warranty which is very unfortunate. Had you possibly researched this more before purchasing, you might have bought a FW450 V3 and then the Airwolf shell. It is very unfortunate that this belt 'maintenance' is not made clear in the advertising or by any RUclips reviewer. Regards

Happy New Year Mike!
Happy landings in 2025. ☺️👍
Airwolf looks great with tail mods.
