Love the variety of quilt designs. I try the more complicated ones but feel I need the simple geometric ones to get started and build confidence. Thank you.

Hello Irene, thanks for the quick, colorful and adorable tutorial. I'm currently sick at home, but I hope I can find some time to sew tomorrow or in the weekend. All the best from Germany, Stephanie

Li wonder if you used a piece of fabric if that would help get the sewing machine would avoid the mess at the beginning.

If the problem is that the presser foot is not level, then raising the back of it can help. Leaders and enders may not be thick enough, but about four pieces of fabric or a thin piece of cardboard might work. There is also a tool called a hump jumper which helps in situations like this.

Hi Irene, thanks for another fun video! Just wanted to share that if you want to prevent that thread mess on the back, look for a video on Bringing up the bobbin thread, such as ruclips.net/video/KDERq4I7l-Q/видео.html
I started doing this when I'm quilting and it's made a big difference in thread nests!

Hi Agata, thank you so much! Aah see, I'm always learning new things. I knew about that technique, but didn't think to use it while quilting, only used it while piecing. Thank you!
