SWEET! When this car first came out. The chassis broke Like butter in the front. I turned it 100% aluminum silver. Bad ass! I miss that car, sold it for 200$ put over a 100$ in it. I just built a 4x4 stampede cont...
The stampede 4x4 mip axles all around. Proline trenchers, new lowered body and XMAXX wheels on stock wheels bar. FYI, that car you have handles AWSOME during jumps.
Its the rear links giving the wag in the tail straighten out the toe and will stop the wiggle also on your shocks can't remember the part number is traxxas though add spacers internally to the shock shaft that way the preload isn't so bouncy and once you add the spacers you can cut the stock springs or some good ebay parts bin style springs. Also to help keep the front down look into rock crawling and look at cable load set ups that are used when increasing torque to keep the front down though if you add spacers internally to reduce movement in the rear as well don't forget to order some used springs the preload creates the bounce. Drop the preload add spacers internally and cut springs that will reduce the lift and bounce check your toe on the rear and will reduce the wiggle. Keep pushing and soon you will be drag racing
Yo bro use the aluminum tire weights they can but cut down to fit in the very front bro they have a adhesive on the back an will stick to the composite just fine make sure u clean the spot before sticking them on though any car parts store carry’s them
Caleb Fontanini im not exactly sure how heavy but they werent quite enough. They were purchased from harbor freight and were wheel weights for a normal car. We are working on suspension and weight plates now to go faster!
Awesome to see the improvements on that stampede and how much better it performs.
Brian Roberson heck yeah!

Just heard of the lipo lock front bumpers. For speed tests that’s what you need!
Ive heard of those! I need to look into that
That’s a beautiful track guys, surrounded by nature! Greetings from colorful Colorado 🙋🏾♂️
It really is a great area! Thanks for watching!
Man you can really hear those tires in the video when it goes by
VilliamTheGr8 for sure!
by the way if you put fishing line on the tires they don't ballon as much
Nice rig. Subscribed
At those speeds, spoilers would be useful. I love my Stampede.
For sure! We have big things planned for this truck!
Looks like y'all had fun!
Amanda Keyser we did!

Thanks for the tips I will have to try them out. The wag on this one was actually the tsm acting weird though.
@@BigDogBermuda13 wiggle is fine... thats just tsm doin its thang... gettin that booty loose
This makes me happy i got the 4x4 vxl
WOW. It s a rocket!
Have you any link for the wides A Arms RPM ?

@@BigDogBermuda13 thanks a lot !
I have aluminum a arms a shocks and shock towers and bulkhead and servo and steering bell crank with Amazon wheels and tires
How much money do u have spend on this nice car
That’s the best track ever. To run or play with the rc. Wooded area.

We actually had some on there but we didnt bring enough 😂
Lol they work good a lot of the flat track guys do that up here in upstate ny
@ 2:36 400 mh ?
Squid game logo on your glasses lol
To stop belonging little holes in the tires✌
Ive seen people use fishing line too!
I think it can go faster. Gear it up a little more and run it at place with more space...
tae MAC I think it can go faster too! Once he can keep the front end down better we will be gearing it up more and going faster for sure!
@@BigDogBermuda13 nice bro 👌
You need about an extra 200 ft of road
Can someone tell me what’s the world record is for the stampede 4 x 4 on 6S Pass thanks
wondering if you need the fan for the vxl system when. you are driving on 3s
We like them. They dont pull much power and it does actually help cool it
@@BigDogBermuda13 thanks
Do you know if you can get a cheaper fan some ware
@@Wmacrum there are some cheaper ones on places like ebay. I havent personally tried them though
hot racing
put a lipo 6s battery in i bett it will hit 70 i have a stampede vxl brushless with a lipo 4s battery and it does about 50-60
If it wheelie at any speed on 3s on 6s you will probably not be able to control it
@@berisade1 tru but he could prob get use to it
What 3s batteries will fit in there without an expansion kit?
imserious2187 we like using the hrb batteries from ebay. They fit in this truck perfectly after minor trimming with a dremel
I use traxxas branded 3s if you go higher than 3s 5000mah you will need to modify
How mach?
What gearing are you running?
imserious2187 I believe this was 25/86. It is the spur it came with stock and the “speed pinion” that came as an upgrade in the box
How heavy were the metal plates on the front?
Caleb Fontanini im not exactly sure how heavy but they werent quite enough. They were purchased from harbor freight and were wheel weights for a normal car. We are working on suspension and weight plates now to go faster!
What kind of battery you using
I believe it was an hrb 3s
That just doesn't look like 49 48 and 57 I'm in disbelief that you're hitting that on that short strip is your gps calibrated?
Is it normal for these to snap drive shafts like crazy? Mine won’t stop snapping them
Loosen the slipper clutch a little
Swap the front bumper.it catches too much air and tends to lift the front up..i put in a max10 4s esc and a 2200kv motor in mines😎
wise 357 thats a good thought! I turned it upside down on my speedrun car and it helped alot
I got 60 hope n to get 70
Get 50mm shocks front and back you will be able to get way more speed
Mph?
There this fast stock?
RED_10R yep! He pulled it out of the box and put a 3s battery in it and went 54 i believe. All the upgrades he did was to help it handle better
How much?
Flavio Ocanto Im not sure how much he spent.
Does the motor get hot if you run it a while with the speed gearing
The Chalk paint he hasnt had any heat issues with that gearing.
