Great laker! That food barrel was crazy. I have to admit, I have become complacent over the last couple of years using a food barrel and not walking it far from camp. That shot of the barrel kinda brought me back to reality lol Thanks for sharing!
Ooo that barrel took a beating. I usually just hang my food, been doing to so much and with a dyneema throw line and small food bag it's really easy to find a suitable branch. Nice laker and campsite, loved how it was a full U flat bench to sit on!!
It did! This was the first trip I had ever just left it in my barrel and of course I stumble across this! Guess that’s the easiest way to learn a lesson. And thank you! That campsite was awesome, you could also jump off the one side into the water if it was a little warmer ahah
Really well done! I enjoyed this part of the story the best. Great footage throughout. I'm learning some filming tricks from you as well. I need to break 100 subs!! Lol. Cheers man.
Hey great video. I have the Esquif Prospecteur 15 and was looking at a double blade option, what length of paddle are you using. Keep up the great content!
Thanks for watching and subscribing! I love the double blade. I started with a fishing kayak so it was natural for me but I find I can just paddle all day and it also can be very useful in camp setups and pushing over beaver dams and low water.

Laker was a great bonus that day! And I also learned a lesson on that one. First trip I decided to leave it in my barrel. Will also be the last lol
Loved the trip. Thanks for filming and posting.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching and following along
I can’t express what your content means to me. I’m forever grateful! Deeper than just a video. I’m guessing you’ll get it.

Thank you! I believe it is a 99in from pelican. I’ll double check for you but I love the kayak paddle. Appreciate the kind words!
Awesome video!! Subscribed 👍. Do you like the double blade vs single blade? I’ve only used single paddle but debating on buying a kayak paddle

It’d be great if we could DM one on one sometime. I could use your help. But if not that’s ok.
