Paddling and Portaging from Sunup to Sundown in Heavy Rain | Spring Brook Trout Fishing in Algonquin

On the last day of my trip I would paddle and portage from sunup til sundown. Although the trip was planned to be a 5 day trip, I made a decision midway through the 4th day to push forward and do almost half of my entire loop on that day. I would push myself past my limits and make it to shore at the very last moment of light. Along the way I would encounter countless waterfalls, moose prints and even catch a few more brook trout.This trip was one of my favourites to date and was full of amazing moments. Algonquin has a way of creating some of my greatest memories.

Your videos have made a difference in my life and I’m sure many others. At least I hope so. Xander Budnick has said he struggled with addiction and glossed over it, but I’ve never seen anyone address it so directly and honestly and unapologetically and give insight to help others overcome their addictions and be a positive influence. Love the canoe after this trip! It handled everything so well. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance! This trip had a wide variety of different waterways and I really enjoyed paddling the Adirondack!
