I'll continue to fly, it's my therapy..
100% man!
Agreed, fpv is not a crime. And fpv also is my hand and finger essentials tremor therapy
Fpv always calms me down after a tough day, its my therapy too
Agreed!
Amen on that
fpv is the only form of video capture that can fit through small spaces, usually get every shot and create cinematics for all
This is a cinematic masterpiece. Always glad to see other fpv pilots out there.
It's true. Regulations in the EU are crazy.
absolutely beautiful clips my friend!
Great job, simply loved it, thank you!
Love the shots by the sunken ship!
Absolute masterpiece.
They have to come make me stop 🛑
awsome video. I feel the same with my rc planes, where they are heavily restricted
People flying drones without responsibility are making bad impression on whole drone hobby.
Hope everyone fly legal and with manners.
Easier said than done with increasing rules and regulations. There shouldn't be so many rules for a hobby. I agree that people should be responsible, but the more rules there are the less fun the hobby becomes. In my opinion, as long as fpv pilots aren't putting others in danger with their flying, I see no problem. Also, who is paying $75 for an RID module just to comply with a regulation that shouldn't even exist to begin with? any sane person would rather spend that on a couple spare batterys and props.
@@OnlyCheat I know it's frustrating but you cant just say every hobby is same and should have same regulations some people enjoy crocheting some hunting or even explosives , drones are new thing it needs time to balance out laws regarding that. Ukraine Russia war made it worse for drone enthusiast cant blame it all on lawmakers
Watched this edit, committed a felony.
This ain’t a crime, this is a work of art. If it’s illegal in a few years I guess I’m gonna be a criminal
Just got into the hobby and love it. Only need some nicer weather here.
It is a great hobby
Well said without a word.
Beautiful.
Nailed it mate! Those who can only dream of what we experience seek to shut us down from fear, ignorance and perhaps jealousy of the joy we get from this hobby. Not on my watch!
"Fear of the unknown and the other is the root of almost all hate. It is born of ignorance and fed by those who would keep us divided" - someone on the internet
Awesome reel. Completely agree.
Very good all together messages and shots❤
1:13 wow, rush tank solo, yes, love it, best vtx I've got
agreed, its all you'll ever need
I’m using a foxeer reaper extreme rn and honestly it’s pretty underwhelming 😅. It doesn’t handle obstacles very well and I don’t usually fly in just open fields
@DownBadSad They are pretty similar afaik so I'm not sure why you aren't getting good results. The rush tank solo hovers around 2w with cooling and the reaper should a bit higher at 2.5w.
Try different freq. R1 will perform better than the rest of race band unless there is another device on R1 where you try flying. what you can do is scan(with your goggles) before powering your quad and use the frequency with the lowest noise level(Assuming it shows you a graph not sure if they all do. if not just experiment a bit). Another big thing is antennas, good quality goes a long way. The power source should also have enough amperage to satisfy the vtx of course.
@@minimaistor I use a tbs triumph 1.0 as my antenna and I run a mamba 405 stack with a 4s battery. The image quality I see on a lot of other peoples goggles just usually looks a lot sharper than mine. I think part of the reason though is because i fly in forested areas usually and I guess the leaves scatter the signal very well, makes it hard to go more than 100 meters out or even less. I haven’t flown around a lot of buildings, might get better results if I give that a try.
@@DownBadSad so for the sharpness part of it, one your camera could just be out of focus or it's not a very nice camera. Personally I use caddx ratel 2. Foxeer also has a real nice camera but I forgot the name. I don't like it when the cameras apply a lot of digital sharpening though, you loose details and it becomes very difficult to see.
Forest is brutal for 5.8ghz. Trees have a lot of water in them and it's difficult for it to penetrate. Remember the wavelength is only around 5cm. Just do a test in open air and see what the range looks like.
nice vid man loved it i will always fly respectfully to be free and sooth the mind.
Absolutely man, FPV should remain something that brings joy to those involved
totally agree man@@minimaistor
THANKS! It's terrible to be fear of flying. I was shot by a hunter just near my own house!
Enjoyed ur video and subbed ur channel. Great job
Thank you, appreciate it
Awesome video. For some reason those look like 3” props lol
Amazing edit and message 👑
Yes continue o fly, it’s great I only just started flying fpv and it’s great.
my friend me too it’s the best thing to have and soon I will make contents about fpv like flying different places and make a cinematic videos can’t wait for this journey let’s make 2024 our year
nice contents guy !!
Cool edit man, subbed
Appreciate it!
I just started this Journey, im so hooked ❤
It truly is addictive !
It's not, but people act, like it is...
In my region the laws are completely unreasonable. Every clip in this video breaks at least one law
@@minimaistor I feel and share your pain...
Awesome edit!
Awesome locations
They are!
I agree! Nice job on the video!😁👍
Thanks!
Are all the clips from runcam 5? If so whats your settings? Looks cinematic!
Yes all of my FPV shots are taken using a Runcam 5 org, using 1440p@60, shutter is locked at either 1/120th or 1/60th depending on what I am doing, these shots are mostly 1/60th. Contrast and sharpness on low.
I am making a video that goes through all my settings and how I process the videos (just waiting for a new mic to arrive) so stay tuned if you want to know more but this covers the majority of it really.
rly awsome shots
FPV is a weapon. Sad but true.
Damn nice footage and flying!
Thanks Hugh
Agree bro. Love it
Great works!!
I've made the choice to jump on board becuase I'm afraid of where things will be in 5 or 10 years. I want to experience as much of this great hobby as I can before its killed.
10 years ago you had to research, build and maintain. But with every passing year it's getting easier for anyone with $1000, no regard for others and even zero training to get airborne and maim somebody.
Completely true, personally I think stores should at least ensure people are educated on the basic do's and don'ts
sooooo masterpiece!!! 😮😮😮🎉🎉❤
Wont stop, cant stop🤙
nice!
What camera do you use? this footage is stable & fantastic
I use a Runcam 5 Orange and stabilised it with gyroflow. Runcam thumb pro is the its replacement. These are both geared towards FPV but the 5 orange can be used for other stuff as well.
> States that FPV is becoming a crime
> refuses to elaborate
> ends video
=> explain??
It's my antidepressants
we wil never stop flying fpv #sendit 😤😖
Very Nice Video ❤❤
I've seen more people get hurt by DJI drones than by FPV quads. Only person I've ever seen get hurt by FPV was when a guy I know was working on his 7in quad with the props on and it armed. Bro looked like he'd been in a wrestling match with a knife rack
🔥
Welcome to the libertarian party, keep your rifle by your side.
insane clips for a runcam orange!! get a gopro my friend you will do NUMBERS
Thanks Dude, maybe I'll get one someday
#NEVERSTOPFLYING - New Sub 🤙🏻
the laws in germany make it impossible to fly an fpv drone over 250g now, this stuff is giving me depression
I'm not going to say they are a suggestions but I mean if they make them too difficult to comply with what are you going to do? I for one wont just stop flying.
@@minimaistor yeah, im still flying 5 inch either and im not gonna stop, but it does make me fear that the police will get me and make me pay like 10.000€ wich would destroy my life
@trumblez That's a hefty fine for having fun
Are you using the same quad for all these shots?
Yes, same quad for everything
Loved it plz plz tell me how what you used to build this drone im begging you
Parts list is in the description although some of the stuff is no longer available
Why is it becoming a crime? Seeing the UTM projects worldwide, I sincerely think it's going the other way around.
UTM projects aren't worldwide but regardless don't change anything for people like me who live in countries with unreasonable laws that only get stricter without reason.
This video wasn't really intended for the places that have reasonable regulations but alas
It is slowly becoming a crime because you have people that fly drones near NFL stadiums during a playoff game. Which get the lawmakers attention and then they run the hobby into the ground with regulations. All because "John" bought his mini 4 from BestBuy a few days earlier and is naïve to the fact that there are rules to flying drones. The drone manufacture can help with this if they would make the drone owner take a knowledge test when you set up your account on their app, *cough DJI cough*, and before they can arm the drone they would need to pass that knowledge test. It wouldn't eliminate the issue entirely, but it would help reduce these type of illegal flights, which would help keep this hobby "out of sight, out of mind". I know that won't happen but it would be a great help to keeping this hobby from having a bad name. Either way, I'm going to keep flying no matter what. If it comes to it I'll be an FPV Outlaw.
😂 clueless
@@wallbanger8389If a mini 4 flew that close to a major sports event, it’s because they forgot to impose a no fly zone. Can’t fool the satellites.
@@blueman5924 anytime there is a major sporting event there is a TFR around the stadium or venue.
Nice video but i can't get the idea of the text.
Most of the restrictive laws in place are caused by negligent pilots doing dumb things. The video basically just says laws wont make a difference for those already disregarding other peoples safety and the end is just a message for pilots to fly within reasonable limits.
nice video!Where you from?some of the footage looks like south africa and namibia
I am from South Africa and yes the footage is from Namibia and RSA
@@minimaistor cool me too!
When gigants come backs this will be one of few things to protect yourself
Start up melody?
No startup melody, just the default beeps and boops confirming its powered and receiving a signal from the flight controller.
where it's becoming illegal? Not in Europe, at least not yet. However, they're dangerous to fly in public places.
If you look through the comments you'll see plenty who agree the laws are getting more and more restrictive for many. In this video every single clip breaks at least one law excluding needing to keep RLOS. This country has bigger problems than some randoms playing with flying carbon fibre though so I'm not stressed.
@@minimaistor I registered my name as a drone pilot in the EU, no issues except near airports and privacy related concerns when the drone has a camera. There are some stricter rules for self built drones, they must have gps modules and don't weigh more than 4 kg.
I think rules and laws outside the free world are tougher.
Over here there is no licencing or form of registration for hobbyists your just expected to not break the law ( more realistically to not cause harm)
commercial is a different story I don't even want to get into because its basically impossible without a ton of money. I'm in South Africa if you are bored enough to read through the boring regulations
@@minimaistor kudos to SA! 👍
fr
Love the final message. Fly responsibly always. what someone does could have a domino effect for they rest of us and right now It’s even easier for us to lose our hobby
It’s mainly becoming a crime because of Karens complaining and then people automatically think drone pilots are invading their privacy and shit. Little do they know, the second you step out of your house, you can’t expect privacy lmfao
I just bought my first FPV drone and am strongly thinking of selling it purely because of the strict drone laws in my country.
I got all excited, did my sim hours, bought the DJI avata, and there is not a single place in my whole country I can fly that isn't my own property.
(Also, I took some shots that broke a rule (in a park, no one around for over 1 km (half mile), literally just nature for miles) but because its a park, I'm not allowed to fly. What do you think about me uploading it on RUclips, would I get fined? Also if you feel like it, you can take down this comment.
I wish the best for FPV ❤
National Parks are normally the ones you need a permit for which I completely understand as a crash can easily start a fire and drones are often used for poaching.
Other Government/Recreational parks have their own rules and you just need to check them beforehand and know the difference between a national park and other parks. In general as long as there aren't any signs/rules strictly saying no drones you should be fine if you don't bother anyone, often you can still ask for permission.
As for being fined for posting the videos it depends. Some countries do indeed monitor social media but not all. If it isn't too expensive to get the licencing/permits needed I would do so.
Cheers for the info, much appreciated👍 @@minimaistor
@minimaistor so when drones can no longer catch fire due to safer better battery replacement, still have to deal with bs law? What about fires due to smoking? I'm sure that's way higher than the one drone on the planet that catches fire. 😂
If the batteries got safer they'd still argue it(model aircraft) could harm wildlife although safer battery technology still would help in that regard. LiPo fires have done pretty big damage in the past. @ivanpopovic1266
@minimaistor I still disagree with you. What you're stating is an excuse. That's not a reason. Fpv fires pail in comparison to human caused fires and smoking. Not even on the board.
How is it slowly becoming a crime? The specific laws in the EU which are being put in place are similar to how it's been the UK since 2020 and even then it doesn't stop you from flying at all. Long story short it was legally unregulated before this year regarding european regs. Yes it ultimately controls the use of them, but if you're flying how most of us do with FPV you'll be alright. Loving FPV myself I can't help but notice the MASSIVELY SIGNIFICANT use of FPV drones in modern warfare... They''ve completely changed how modern warfare is conducted, so do you think the EU would sit back and allow the unregulation of something potentially very desctructive in some of the most peaceful and culterally dense countries on the planet? Remember we live in countries you can change policy by voting and with the general public's voice heard when making political decisions. If you want FPV, flying drones/quads to persist be the good guy at your local spot and keep people happy with them. Don't always be the cool guy with a skateboard saying F you. Work with what you got and do it well!
@legurgemaison Realistically nobody here is going to get into trouble I know that, this video honestly wasn't supposed to get more than 50 views in the first place however that doesn't mean I didn't mean what I said. In this video alone there is at least 8 different laws being broken, probably even more. Yes it isn't really enforced and the people(public/strangers) I've spoken to are generally open minded and just see it as a cool toy like we do but the thing is if they did choose to enforce the laws everyone who fly's solo would be screwed. There are already people who are afraid they will be used as an example (ie, get fined or something) and plenty that don't want to get into the hobby because they see the laws on paper and shy away.
All this video was meant for is just to get people to get to know the regulations so that they can voice their opinions to keep the hobby from becoming over regulated. I haven't brushed on commercial regulations in my country either and that's what really bothers me but that outside of the scope of this video.
I probably wont touch on this topic again on my channel.
if you aren't satisfied with my answer you might find a better one in the comment section since you aren't the fist person to ask this question and probably wont be the last
@@minimaistor It's a good opener for the discussion! I hope more people talk about these things so good idea using it for the vid. I'd say your buttery flying got you those views, you have a nice style. Seeming you opened up your flying to the internet, remember, if you fly anywhere legally spicy it was always using a quad >250g for the videos... if you catch my drift. The internet will be more forgiving as oh boy do people like to be correct. thanks for responding too and take it easy

Morocco?
These shots are taken in South Africa and Namibia.
Of course it is not 😉
wait why do people not like fpv
Most people don't have any problem with drones. It's just the loud minority really.
You will own nothing and be happy, thats what they want
Come to Ukraine. Here we have the best FPV training field in the world :)
Why is that a crime?
What regulations? Never heard of them and don't give a shit about it either. Just gotta find a spot with no police ;)
I like your funny words magic man
Is either this or drugs
Facts 😂
"There is often talks of the legality of FPV ... drones ..." Here's why ...
In the evening of February 9, 2024, I was walking through the intersection of Palm Canyon Drive and Tahquitz Way - this is the main intersection of downtown Palm Springs, CA. It was dark - with lights from the shops and street lights. The streets were closed off to vehicle traffic. Thousands of people were walking through the area. Suddenly an FPV aircraft went zipping by me at shoulder height within about 18 inches proximity. I watched the FPV aircraft for about 30 seconds as it zipped by people and directly above them, again within inches of proximity. No beacon for night flight. Over people by inches. I located the pilot - no spotter. Outside of whatever he could see in his goggleverse, no situational awareness.
The FPV community knows its biggest enemy - the irresponsible self-righteous members of the FPV community that reflect on the entirety of drone pilots everywhere.
😖
That's exactly it, you said it like it is.
It's not, until you want it to be.
Destroy every place with that bad footage camera and grading wow
Thanks for the feedback, please share with me what's wrong and how to do better next time
