A new song by Architects, love covering their music, they always have fantastic production and fun riffs to play.
TUNING NOTES:
The song might be in a special tuning that isn't typical Drop F, where they have both the lowest strings tuned to F, but I didn't spot anything that suggested it, however there are no power chords used and the only other string used is the high F for a small pull-off in the main riff.
Seems like they pitch-shift parts of the breakdown down a half-step aswell.

They usually play with 6 strings in a drop B where they tune the low string down to F# so it creates an octave between the low strings: F# F# B E G# C#.
Apparently they move a half step down from that for this song.
Yea in the description I have my thoughts on that, but figured it would be more accessible to play along to with a regular tuning.
It's likely that the correct tuning is what you wrote though, but this tuning also helps me play it so I don't have an extremely floppy string!
They started tuning down half a step on songs like Doomsday live to make it sustainable for Sam to perform live night after night. I think they’re just sticking with that tuning in the studio now for similar reasons.

are you sure that this is in F and not F#? Id say 98% of their discography is based around C# standard tuning, with many variations where the only change is the lowest string.
examples:
C# standard - C# F# B E G# C#
Drop B - B F# B E G# C#
G# tuning - G# F# B E G# C#
F# tuning - F# F# B E G# C#
guys its drop B with a low F on a six string. i play this on my baritone cause then you dont need to skip a string to play this and the low F isnt Sloppy
in this song it’s a Drop Bb or A# with the low F to match the 5th string, but the rest of architects songs, do use Drop B but with a low F# or a G# :))
