    Replace Your Breakfast With This Super Healthy Smoothie [Fat Burning Smoothie]
    This recipe contains high quality sources of protein, fat and fiber to help keep you satiated (full and satisfied) while keeping sugar content low. This makes this smoothie a great meal replacement and perfect for working toward a weight loss goal. The goal with this smoothie is to not greatly spike insulin, making it easier to shift back into fat burning faster.
    Lemon Blueberry Pie Smoothie
    Serves 1
    Ingredients:
    -10 oz. unsweetened nut or seed milk
    -1/2 serving vanilla protein powder (stay tuned for the release of my zero sugar protein powder!!)
    -1/2 cup greek yogurt (OR 1/2 cup plant-based yogurt + additional 1/2 serving protein powder)
    -1/4 cup frozen blueberries
    -1/2 lemon, juiced (add the lemon zest as well for extra flavor!)
    -1 Tbsp. coconut butter
    -1 Tbsp. flax seeds
    -1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

    Just saying I've lost 8lbs in about a week just from walking and making Autumns smoothies and food recipes! Thank you so much ! I was so discouraged after my second pregnancy and gained even more wait than before and breastfeeding seemed to make me really crave all the bad food and I couldn't seem to get on track now I'm the most satisfied I've ever been loosing weight my mental health has changed and I have energy to keep up with my 2 toddlers!     Wow!! Just made this smoothie …… it’s so light and amazing with the lemon and the coconut flakes on top just sends it over the edge for me!! I’m trying to find the link for the bundle you mention in this video but I don’t see it. This bundle is exactly what I’m looking for as someone who has never tried intermittent fasting. I’ve loved every recipe I made from your RUclips videos so I’m excited to find more. As a side note …..I just found your channel maybe two months ago and instantly I was hooked.     Question on the sugar and insulin spike. When mixing a high amount of good fats along with the low amount of berries, does the fat help buffer the insulin spike compared to having no fat in the shake? Thanks 😊

    Hi Autumn,
    Do you recommend using oikos greek yogurt instead of protein powder? Protein powder doesn't suit me quite well. Oikos greek yogurt is sweetened by stevia i guess, or do you recommend sticking to plain unsweetened greek yogurt??

    Perhaps ripe avocado could also make it creamy if you wish to substitute the plant-based yoghurt I guess

    Love this! Gonna try! Question- I’m new here, are you sensitive to sugar? Just wondering why you say everything has to be without sugar even mentioning sugar content in berries?

      Hi Elizabeth! I focus my recipes on lower sugar content because so many Americans have insulin resistance (a 2017 CDC statement estimated around 1/3 of the population). Plus, these lower sugar fruits taste great in a smoothie and tend to be more nutrient dense than the higher sugar fruit alternatives!😋

      Coconut "cream" and "butter" have a ton of similarities, so they can be used fairly interchangeably. But I've found the "butter" option helps make a smoothie thicken up a bit better than the "cream" option. Enjoy the recipe!

    I love Autumn’s smoothies. I’m from England but at the moment am in Mexico and I notice they sell a lot of vanilla. Has anyone tried the Mexican vanilla? They say it’s pure vanilla so I wondered if it would it contain too much sugar? If anyone has tried, can they let me know please.

      Mexican vanilla is a popular option here in the States. It’s delicious! If it’s pure vanilla extract it shouldn’t contain any sugar but you may need to check the specific label. Hope this helps! :)

      Hi Jess! The vast majority of the recipes use ingredients that are easily accessible at most grocery stores. One way to help the meal plan fit your budget is by choosing the proteins that best fit your budget. The meal plan is very flexible with adjusting the recipes to different protein sources. For example, eggs and ground meat tend to be some of the least expensive proteins. Although grass-fed is ideal, choosing non-grass-fed options can also help to better fit a budget while still getting a high quality protein source.

    i don’t think it will be very satiating… after all… you’re just drinking a big glass of smoothie! if you’re in a calorie deficit my first option would be to go with high volume, low calorie dense food that you can actually eat!! 😉😉

      @@AutumnBates i actually tried keto for quite a long time, and i have to say that i love that kind of diet. I ate all the food i love and taste the more, i didn’t have problem with energy levels (as someone might think you necessarily need carbs for energy), i improved veeeery very much my lipid panel (hdl to ldl ratio was wonderful with that diet)… so i can just say positive things about that.
      The reason i quit? it was too difficult to stay in a calorie deficit. It was too easy for me to over eat and pass the amount of calorie i need to stay lean and in shape. Maybe the satiety thing work for somebody.. not for everyone. For me… it was less satiating and more easy to over eat. For sure you can do more arm by ogereating cheese, oil, butter… than salad beetroots pumpkins or carrots!! 😁😜

      If you aren't carb sensitive and you aren't lactose intolerant then you can try out using cows milk!

      I think that completely depends on the protein powder you are using. One of the brands that I had was 1 scoop. The powder I use now is 2 scoops for a serving. So you will just need to look at the label on your container. BTW, when I'm really hungry, sometimes I just use a little extra protein powder and it helps.

      Increase the protein in the smoothies amd also calculate how much protein you need so you make sure you're hitting those targets. She has a video on how to do this.

      Adding the toppings is quite helpful as well! It adds that "chewing" sensation of a non-smoothie meal that can significantly boost the satiety experience.

    Thank you for not adding spinach or any greens. Smoothies are for fruit not veggies in my opinion. If I wanted veggies I would eat a salad haha

      😂😂 I'm in the same boat. I like to eat my veggies, not drink them! But thankfully my recipes are also really easy to add a handful of leafy greens into if someone likes to drink their veggies instead.

    Of course your lemons are “organic”. But conventional lemons are all covered in a food-grade wax :/. You should not grate this onto your food..
