Where do you get the recipes from? I love cooking but planning and counting the macros/calories sucks. I just want some health nut to take my stats and tell me what to cook up. I love cooking though.

3:22 Some broccoli added to smoothies actually isn't that bad of an idea. Makes it a bit more thicker and adds a nice green tint to it. I always do that.

Put the protein in last, or second to last if you're using peanut or almond butter (drop the butter on top of the protein). Do both after already adding the liquid. It'll mix more smoothly and not leave chunks of the butter or protein on the inside of the shaker cup. It makes it easier to rinse clean after. Also, instant coffee is an awesome addition to almost any shake/smoothie. Been using the Ninja for a while now. One of the best kitchen appliances!
Here is my go to smoothie for lunch: 1 cup frozen blueberries, some cinnamon, cold coffee, about 3/4 cup, I large teaspoon peanut butter (or any nut butter, 15-20 grams), 1,5-2 scoops Whey chocholate protein powder. About 500 calories, with a lot of protein. Very good!
I'm on a cutting diet right now with high carbs. The bulk of the carbs come from fruits. If you like a thick smoothie shop-style tropical smoothie try this. 150g fresh pineapple (not frozen) 200g Frozen Mango 1 banana (not frozen) 8 fluid ounces of orange juice (I typically use the 50 calorie per serving one) Some ice (you can eyeball this to your liking) 350 Cal 89.5 carbs 4.7 protein 1.4 fat The reason why mango is the only frozen fruit on this list is because my blender can't handle everything that's frozen. I tried it once and it jams. Mango is also the only fruit, in my experience, that gives the smoothie a weird consistency when it's not blended from frozen. I don't mix the protein powder in this smoothie cause I get enough protein for my daily macros from breakfast and dinner.
Brekfast:125g asda full fat Greek style yoghurt 1tbspn honey 2tbspn pb2 powder 50g cocoa powder 5g greens powder 5g purple powder 200ml semi skimmed milk... amazing the powder as because I don’t perticuarly like my fruit and vegetables plus there good energy etc, lunch:4oz grilled skinless chicken breast or 125g 5%fat lean beef, 120g spinach half an avocado and 1 red bell pepper (with a can of Pepsi max to wash the horrible tase away lol) dinner:113g baked orange sweet potato or 113brown rice 100g whole wheat sphaggeti 6oz grilled skinless chicken breast (or 125g 5% fat lean beef) and a 25g of protein, protein shake with 200ml semi skimmed milk straight after my workout which is 1hr 30 mins after lunch, I went from 75kg 14years old 5,9 roughly to 70kg 14 years old so far and put on a little muscle, BELIVE IN ME
Hey Joe and anyone who see's this most blenders top will fit on top of a mason jar so you portion out your own smoothie packs and keep them in the freezer, also saves dish washing since you'll only need to wash the mason jar rather then the blender
Sounds weird but I sometimes add some beans to my smoothies for some extra protein and fibre (so good if on a cut) and they're super cheap! I also typically add a small amount of seeds or nuts for extra protein and for some healthy fats Here's my typical protein smoothie recipe: 50g frozen strawberries 50g frozen blueberries Half a banana Scoop of protein powder (I think many flavours would work but I use vanilla) 1/3 tin of kidney beans (rinsed) 1 tbsp chia seeds ~400ml liquid (I do half plant-based milk and half water because it's cheaper and the taste is still good) Great video mate btw, and as a vegan I'm really appreciating the vegan friendly content! I just made the chocolate protein shake but without the nutella and substituted for almond butter.....the absolute best shake I’ve ever made hands down!!!
i do a smoothie in the morning with 55g of protein and about 850 calories 4 strawberries 1 large banana 2/3 cup of any milk 3 spoonfulls of strawberry yogurt then I blend just to make more room then I add a scoop of protein, mine is one scoop = 200 calories and 30g protein and 2 spoonfulls of peanut butter

@Rakkety Tam it depends on which strawberry jam to be technical but at the end the thing that matters is the amount of calories. If you can fit strawberry jam in your diet without too big of a calorie surplus it should be healthy.
Saved 200 quid this month by following your videos about logging everything you spend. So simple but becomes a challenge not to write something down cutting out unnecessary purchases. Combined with meal plan knocked off a good bit of weight too. Top man keep up good work

I checked and I'm now the first orange drama to lose her smoothie virginity, proud owner of this recipe. Please enjoy, hoping to share, even if it doesn't get used.

I make one with a small can of pineapple juice, 1 banana,1/4 cup of frozen mixed berries (to be honest I just eye ball everything) 1 coffee cup of strong green tea or almond milk you choose. 1 scoop of chocolate organic protein powder and 1 scoop of orange Metamucil.
A good one if you don’t have a lot of stuff is two bananas two spoonfuls of peanut butter i tiny bit of chocolate milk, white milk and ice cubes tastes so good
I pretty much do this. I combine frozen blueberries, 2 scoops of ISO-100 protein powder and 2% milk and blend it together. If I have tapioca peals, I'll add that and the smoothie becomes Japanese bubble tea.
If you want to add calories and are afraid of/ allergic to peanut butter (rip), a teaspoon or two of coconut oil helps to bulk it up a bit, thanks for the vid Joey D 😘
Bananas for all your content dude. Sounds like a non starter but if you’re cutting hard a great smoothing to be had with spinach, kale, beetroot, apple and ginger. Blend is next level man

My go to shake when I'm ´bulking is:1 frozen banana, 40g of oats, 300ml milk (3,5%), 1 or 2 scoop of vanila protein, greek yogurt and some extra honey of nuttela. 100% recommended if u wanna get some mass! Around 1000 kcal and 50-70g of protein!

My go to smoothie: 1.5 cup (Blackberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Blueberries) + 250 mL 1% milk + 1 scoop protein powder + 1 tablespoon peanutbutter + 3 ice cubes Absolute crack. High protein, low calorie.
A quick tip @Joe Delaney if you dont want your smoothies to get watery, blend the rest first and half ways add the ice and give it a quick blend not thorough, cause due to friction ice actually melts faster in the blender, and waters down instead of frosting !

I use egg whites allot in my smoothies too, to get that protein if you don't have or want to use protein powder.

For the last one I put frozen raspberries instead of strawberry and some strawberry jam and it's absolutely amazing

I like to riff off of Whole Food's Double Green smoothie at home with:
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup kale
6 whole frozen strawberries
4 frozen peach slices
1 whole lemon
2 scoops vanilla protein powder

My go to shake when I'm ´bulking is:1 frozen banana, 40g of oats, 300ml milk (3,5%), 1 or 2 scoop of vanila protein, greek yogurt and some extra honey of nuttela. 100% recommended if u wanna get some mass! Around 1000 kcal and 50-70g of protein!

lol I came across this video looking for good wholesome shake recipes for my sister but watched it for the humor in the vid for myself. The avocado part was the funniest .. XD And yes that green bigcore creamy health-booster is a fruit! Usually those with seeds in the middle stuff are fruits mate. Also thanks for the vegan recipes. Very helpful!

A quick tip @Joe Delaney if you dont want your smoothies to get watery, blend the rest first and half ways add the ice and give it a quick blend not thorough, cause due to friction ice actually melts faster in the blender, and waters down instead of frosting !
