This was a fascinating view into the world of cheap food stuff. Up here in the frigid fridge that is Scandinavia, the price of the meals is basically one step up (cheap to mid, mid to costly, and costly to eating-out-every-day-like-a-trust-fund-kid)
@Line not really? The average full-time position in the UK earns about £29k (after tax), whereas a Norwegian earns on average £30k (after tax). That's not a huge gap.
Never regret watching your content Joe, awesome recipes and so useful to see UK supermarket comparisons! The amount you’ve taught me about nutrition and how to actually apply that has helped me (and I imagine countless others) massively. I’ve also been on your full body training split it’s been unreal in improving my weekly volume and recovery. Really enjoy every session and don’t get savage DOMS 🎉 which really helps with consistency. I’m massively more mobile as well from learning proper form on Bulgarian split squats, thanks to you. Also took your recommendation of following Tom Merrick and that’s been a game changer. Ever improving production value, editing & comedic voiceovers with invaluable information. “Joe Delaney is my hero”
I don't want to get ahead of myself here, but I think this might be one of the best fitness/food related videos ever released... Thanks Joe you absolute legend
Been using the push app and I love it. Super handy for keeping track of rest between sets! Also very easy to use and makes me feel superior to everyone else in the gym. Big up Joe
Really great video! I've never seen anyone do a whole bulk day break down in multiple price points. Someone being really budget conscious can use this to scale to their needs or mix and match.
haven't seen one of your videos in a few months etc, it was a breathe of fresh air an a fantastic example, thank you so much for sharing, looking forward to more.
It might be done quite a bit, but the "on a budget" meals are always good to have around, especially when that budget isn't always the gym bro influencer budget for someone that gets paid to be in the gym all day working out. Great seeing that its quite possible to do things with a very limited budget and the realistic expectations being put into the video, and mentioning alternate solutions without making people feel like crap when they aren't making a lot but still are trying to better themselves with their fitness. Another smash video Joe, cheers.
Can’t be the only here that love this video about how to go on a cut for cheap🙏🏻 3400 cals is almost a 500cal deficit of my maintenance calorie intake that is ~3894 cals/day
I needed this! I used to be loyal to Athleanx and I still watch his vids, but he doesn’t offer this kind of info without a price attached to it and a link to his website to buy it. So to you I say ‘Well done sir!’
The video is very helpful! Especially if you are from UK, in my country the same things will cost much much more, however it still made me realize how to structure my meal cheaper.
2:45 thank you. Every time Ive ever separated my yolks I just can’t do it! I’m like bro I don’t care I’m not wasting this!!! Maybe the fact that I’ve been living in Nigeria since lockdown is part of this thought process… but still 😂 its a waste of perfectly good food.
This is an awesome, useful video. As a beginner into nutrition and bodybuilding, this video showed me that I don't have to spend a ton of money to reach the required macronutrients. I can just use some of your ideas for low to medium budget meals. Really helpful stuff... thanks
More videos like this with different meal ideas would be great, bulking is definitely tough with budget constraints especially when factored in with living with other people not just shopping for yourself
Your actually a little bit of a legend. Actually hard to find a video that’s not trying to be fancy or throw in a load crap just to be ‘RUclips-y’ and I’m on a serious budget so this is perfect. Could I ask, what’s the reason for removing the skin from the thighs? I love that stuff lol
The best carbs to eat in the morning are from.... legumes! Also sweet potato, squash, potato, carrot and parsnip are good everyday foods -- starchy so they bring good calories. I stay away from all grains, including rice as they trigger inflammation and neuropathy as we age, especially if you got unlucky with certain genes.
Hey Joe, thanks for the ideas. i was wondering if you could maybe add a vegetarian/vegan alternative for each meat-based meal next time? would be awesome since it applies to more and more people. keep up the quality. cheers

But we also earn more money so it averages out tbh

@@studium- yeah supermarket food in the uk is unusually cheap. relative to wages, it must be one of the cheapest in the world.

Literally the best diet breakdown for bulking ive seen, great vid. I’ve sprinkled a bit from low, medium and high budget into my meals.
Great quality information, and respect for being one of the few nattys left
Once again proving why you're the best fitness channel on RUclips!
You are class mate, your sense of humour is so subtle but kills me throughout the whole video😂
