Lots of tlc required.
Those hatches on the aft deck looked like teak over wood. If the decks are the same beware of rot under the teak ! I went through that nightmare !
You don't often see deck repairs due to water intrusion or rot on Grand Banks due to their superior construction, but I have seen some rebuilt aft deck hatches.
Wind noise is terrible., Can't understand a lot of what you are saying
A GB 42 with twin 300HP Cummins is a force to be reckoned with. 💪💪
Get out of the way!
Not worth that money, needs electronics upgrade Bigtime, the trim is in horrible shape and overall needs a complete overhaul. This boat is worth 80k tops.
Bring an offer!
Can't hear anything you are saying in that wind.
These are fantastic boats.
Anyone out there able to offer a warranty on the vessel through a private entity ?
Good thinking. I've never heard of such an offer
Love the boat, but you might want to take some photography instruction. You made me seasick with all the swinging around of the camera. Try limiting the movement, you need to stop trying to 'paint' the picture! Hope that helps
Thanks for your feedback!
question- your thoughts on after or before purchase could we figure out on transporting to southwest harbor maine? also maybe an approximate cost for that procedure? this boat is interesting to me and within my price range depending on transport thanks
It may be too large for over the road (likely around $30k over the road with flybridge removal). I'd budget $50k for a long trip like that delivery with captain on the water. You could also have it shipped from Ensenada to Florida on a ship which would likely be around $30k.
@@coronadoyachtandhome that sounds about what i thought thanks for replying
Nice old boat and great, detailed video!
Thank you very much!
