Nice run and a great explanation. In the early 90's we had a similar trawler with ours being a 1980 36' Albin Trawller with a single 120HP Ford Lehman as well. These are such reliable vessels and engines.

I believe it’s a great engine package for the budget trawler person. ❤️🙏👍🏻😉

Amazing! Those are long days. I’m expecting 5-6 weeks NY to Florida at looper speed.

Under $4,000 is about $0.50 per mile which is not that much worse than my Jeep TJ here in California.

Almost 3.5 to the gal. Not too shabby. What were the typical rpms needed for cruising speed?

I would say about 1900 RPM both techs said something different but split the difference of them at 1900

Hey man, what year grad are you. Me…1972. I am very interested in checking out the waters in the NW, and I like the GB brand. I may pick your brain later for some info on trawlers. Currently still flying my 180. Thanks for the video. Jim K

Why do you need to run the gen.while under way? I never do on my 36ft Grand Bank's my inverter takes care of my 120volts?

We don’t anymore, when we had the old A/Cs we would have to run the generator if we wanted to run them. With the new A/Cs we can run one off the inverter so we don’t run it while under way anymore. Thanks for the comment God Bless
