Yes AP... the SP25 is a really interesting board, fast and snappy... yet smooth as silk. I am getting an 8'8 on the next container.... stoked to ride a smaller one 👍🏻
Hi Patty I went as a guest of Tiago's to check it out. Wonderful location, beautiful set-up in the countryside. Tiago showed me around town, took me to many of the breaks that he takes the SUPsters to... very nicde. So important to have a guide to the best places to SUP surf in Portugal... it maximizes the conditions that are there during your trip. Tiago is a really nice man, and I was grateful for the experience he brings to the SUP world!

Watching your vids on tv Would absolutely love to have been out there with you day one and two looks good day three I wasn’t impressed with but the first two days look good now I’m watching you on a video that showed the great White between you and a boat I love my subs I got seven of them and a couple of Longboards but prefer Surfing my sups these days not that I’m old and crotchety I still get out there and just hammer it and just cruise and I just I’m loving watching your style and just watching your mellow out and just cruise down the line

Another great clip Rick. We have our share of GW's down here in Aus but there seems to be a concentration of them in your locality. California also seems to be increasing significantly in the number of sightings too. I admire your ability to put them to the back of your mind when you are enjoying a solo session. Keep up the stoke Rick! 🤙
Hi Chris, yes... they do seem to be increasing in many places. Luckily they are not really nasty creatures like Bull Sharks. Surfing with lots of smaller sharks in Florida during the winter, has given me a better understanding of shark behavior in general.... that has given me some peace of mind.
Hi Patty... don't think about the fins.... they are always down there somewhere. What I have seen first hand is that they really don't notice us at all... much less have any interest in us. Good on you for being out there alone... nothing better than a solo session!

It was warm and perfect! My videos are shot by setting up a robo cam on the beach before every session. I use the SoloShot3 Optic65.... I have no friends that would do that for me 🤣

Thanks Gary, Ever since the Gray Seal population on the Cape exploded about 10 years ago, the GW's have lined our shores... literally. They are all hunting in the surf zone. The bonus is... no one surfs early mornings, so I get dawn patrol to myself or a few friends. Not a turn of events that we wanted..... But I have grown to appreciate the crowd control 🙂

@@rickweeks Never knew you got great whites in Florida. I thought it was too warm for them. I know what you mean though. I lived in Australia for 5 years but always gave it a few days after a sighting.
@@marcelboogaard3809 The Great Whites are on Cape Cod, where I live... I spend some winters in Florid to escape the wetsuit! there are not many GW's in Florida... mostly I Blacktips where I surf. On Cape Cod the GW's are always near shore from June to November. Hundreds of them. If we took days off... we'd never get to surf at all.
