- Whilst doing some reconnaissance work in Morocco for future surf retreats, I've been checking out the local waves (and recording some of the R&D). I've enjoyed riding my longer surfboard options; this particular shape a collaborative prototype i'm working on with Album for release asap.

So good to see your watercraft and the descisions you make. Thanks for the wisdom! :)
I was born in Morocco and my favourite spots are Anchor Point, Dracula, Dar Bouazza, Imsouane and Sidi Moussa. Long time i didn´t go there. But it´s far from the place i live now, near Puerto Escondido Mexico. Nice video. Lucky you to surf there.
Anza, Morocco - been there the day before you came! Had one of the best waves of my life there so far 🎉
awesome pov! I haven't surfed in over 25 years, but this vid made me feel like I was out in the water again! Liked and Subscribed! 🤙🤙✌
will you ever get back in the water?
That was a total feast! 🤩
Sooo many nice waves! Love the clips!
Awesome sesh mate, congratulations!!!
Sick sesh!! Instant sub, no talk just surf!
Sick video as always
Thank you
4'17" was best one
Dodging that little crowd gave me anxiety! Looks awesome Kale and the surfboard too!
What a great sesh mate. You caught some really nice ones. Crowd dodging at its finest!
"crowd" lol
I agree, pretty sick vid. I love the head camera.
You are the best Kale! Really enjoy all your videos! Cheers mate
You’re the best! Thanks for watching!
I felt those waves! Thanks Brocc!
This is one of the most stunning surf vids I ever watched! Incredibly surreal conditions. A dream sesh, thanks for sharing 👏
Always more interesting to see a raw sesh with a paddle out 🤙🤙🤙
I love brockoli, surfing and Morocco...haha. I realy could feel your vibe! thank you for the video it made me almost booking a flight instantly :))
It looks so pretty, fun and ripable!🏝🤙🤙
That board looks like so much fun
Epic. I'm flying there this weekend and bring my fresh twin pin mid as well. Maybe I'll see you in the lineup soon. Which fins are you liking in the mid out there? I'm grabbing a couple sets to try while I'm there.
Killing it: You were all over those waves.
Wow that wave looks so fun
That looked super fun
Wow sick waves. So jealous!
I see you wrote in the description that the board is coming out soon but any hints on the dimensions of the board you were riding there? Looked amazing, nice and flowing, perfect for those waves. nice one
Awsome Rides !
Anza is just a lovely place ❤ say hi to tono and the crew! hope everyone is doing great
Awesome!
Insane!👌🤙
Great vid! I was flailing around on the couch with each drop in, and cutback.hahaha \000/
Sick session 🎉
What size was the board? 7’?
so fun!!
So satisfaying omg 😳
That 7'0" looks like a beauty...
So nice
I think the mid length board gives more of vicarious experience when filmed from a headcam too
Really good POV surfing. The Album you surfed looked Fire. Townsmen?
Sick! And Lots of nice waves you caught here! Anza is a Fun Wave with some heavy Foam when it gets bigger. Surfed there also in November for a few days and now I know I saw you during an sunset session at AnchorPoint one evening. Cool Mate, enjoy and thanks for your work and engagement. I follow you for a good while now especially since you taught me do the banana onBoard ;;D
Nice 🤙
You should surf Anchor Point in the north of Taghazout
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood right there
Board looks nice and loose…sweet!
6'6 is such a fun board omg
Amazing, try imsouane if it breaks, you will love it
We love you Kale ! What's the shoulder update?
That be the wave count for my whole mentawai boat trip :)
Love it. Is that a go pro? thanks
Very nice footage! What kind of go pro do you use?
I just saw you walking on the streets in morocco. Sorry that i didnt say hi, i just remember now where i knew you from. From my online surfschool ;)
Super fun session! And how do you Go Pro without breathing heavily? haha
nice waves, many buoys in the way
welcome to morocco
Looks super fun! Surfing Morocco is on my list. Did you surf boilers yet?
Yes :)
Damn it was really interesting to see you whipping that midi around just to compare it to my surf videos with midi gives me a few things that I'll try on the next session. I noticed your popup was much more sideways/angled almost az you are surfing shortboard. Hmm I always felt midis don't need angled takoff as you can step on the bottom turn. Thanks really enjoyed the vid.
Depends on the wave hey. Looks like you need to get down the line quickly from takeoff at this spot, to beat the sections. So angled takeoff would be the go
Oh man, this just makes me want to surfing. Except my local is blown out 2 ft
Are you coming to the Canary island the waves are 🔥 this week
Kale, I really enjoy your videos. I was really trying to pay attention to your duck diving. I’m an intermediate surfer but feel like my duck diving is crap hahaha have you done a video on duck diving with different boards and different size waves??
Yes check out our tutorial playlist :)
Hey mate! Awesome vid! I’m thinking getting mid-length board soon but wondering how’s duck dive with mid-length? Is it tricky ? Or any tips? Cheers!
Nah it’s fine :) depends on size and volume
That board works nicely..
Woawwww so cool! Is that imsouane ?
France, Spain, Maldives, Portugal, Morocco... We can swap jobs hahahaha, but I cannot tell you what is mine about (I think I will get better deal there 😂😂😂). Great joy man!
Anza, surf magnet.
Epic wavess , what board is that? Size and volume please
Hey Kale, i think it would be really helpful to get some How To - breakdown videos in POV, such as 2:18. seeing beach photage is great but i get lost in practice and that visualization is key. Cheers!
i'd love to hear more about your "how to" vids 🙃?
You should go to Tafedna to "Surf Jamal". Coolest surf school ever!
Wow!!! Hardly looks like you're riding a mid length with that surfing.
Holy shit those waves are nice
Where is this place in Morocco mate ? And I saw you taught surfing to a Moto3 World Champion Albert, that's so cool
Man, I gotta get better at duck diving my big board. I'm really in love with my 6'8 twinny, but getting through solid stuff like that is tough for me pushing like 38-40ish liters at 78kg.
The amount of people to how in the fucking way they are ratio at that spot is INSANE. I've deffo had some sessions with only like 5 people out, but they seem to be absolutely determined to get run over.
I want that 6'6 mate!!!! That thing looks so FUN!!! Yew. G⭐
Not ready yet!! But stay tuned!
@@KalesBroccoli I've wanted to go to Europe so bad! Braking my back in 2005 and the 3 surgeries since haven't helped at all. Morocco is one of the places I've really wanted to spend time in. Psyched for you Kale!!! G⭐
When you are at thagazout look for Dani from swellsearch tour ;)
Looks like a great session! Why did you choose the mid? Short wouldn't work?
I’d guess because he enjoys using his mid especially in these conditions
@@kaydenrodgers3025 I now heard on the beginning of the vid that Kale says he just finished a sess on his short board but he's out of gas and it's still pumping. Now everything clicks 😅
What board is that? I’m going there on sunday and am looking for a mid length twin around 6’6
When is that board model about to be released? Great surfing, even better waves
Asap
As a begginer i can't comprehend how barely u paddle to catch these waves. Insane
Also crying to see how easy it is to get to the spotwhen being able to duck dive without a big ass soft board LOL
It’s all in the positioning!!
Perfect for my moonraker
you should leave some waves for the rest of the Morocco hahahahaha when you are in the water there is no wave for no one..hahah awesome sesh mate!!
Haha it only looks like that because I only show my waves here - condensed experience
Always avoided it towards the port and Agadir due to pollution issues which the locals warned us about. Saying that it's not much better further North till you get away from Taghazout etc. That looks nice and clean though in both senses of the word.
Yeah that's somehow tru with that water color. You notice it's clearer when surfing Boilers
kale looking back at the camera bc he knows his wave was fire
😂😂😂
love this wave. been there many times
is this anza ?
@@xanrousset6522 Looks like Anza...
Arriving in a week and a half...
Hi Kale, which size is this board ? maybe can you insert it in movie description.
6’4 - but I can’t share too many details yet :)
Kale can you give us the name and brand of the 6'6? Looked through some of your other videos but didn't see. Thank you!
It’s not ready yet ;)
Well when it is ready, I'm stoked to find out!
Mate really want to give Morroco a go! What time would you say its the best season??! Big fan, regards!
Right now :)
Winter time
So I guess next stop will be Anchor point Broc ;)
Stay Jazzed!!!
Where and how did you fix your camera?
How long is that board?
Enjoyed the surfing, not the crowd.
I've just stepped on to the 7'0" Tolhurst/Ingleby mid6 it's an absolute weapon. If you get the opportunity try one, you won't be disappointed.
And that's the least crowded spot in this area
did you try imsouane surf point ( cathedral ) , if not , you should not miss it
Where is that? I've been there
Hey Kale, I'm new to the sport. I'm a light guy around 125 lbs 5'9", total beginner, found a used midlength 7 foot board for $175 nearby. Waiting for the wetsuit to come in but I wanted to ask if you think I made a mistake buying a 7 footer to start? I didn't want to buy brand new and my car is kind of cramped and I couldn't get a rack.
Yeah a bigger board is a good way to start. Its just about getting comfortable for that transition to those smaller boards.
All the best!
@@troyberghan6788 Thanks! I know a big 8 footer or 9 footer longboard is usually what's recommended for beginners, but do you think I'll have a hard time with a 7 foot funboard?
Nah i think you should be fine, if you have watch a few tutorials and put in the time
Looks like hashpoint in Taghazout?
Perfect board size..must admit...always preferred flotation over performance...
Welcome welcome 🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
what size is your board?
nice where u at?
The crowd keeps paddling straight towards the face of those beautiful waves. That would infuriate me
*in PT's voice.... "Another roundhouse wrap around,,,,, rebound off the white water!"
Ripping as always!
Board dimensions???
Undecided yet!
I just realized I don't even like paddling out virtually.
There's something about watching a mid length or a stubby twinny!
