Thanks for this video and appreciate that the theme of locating fish at non-traditional places. Mulloway are definite flat hunters, I have caught them when targeting big flathead under low to no light. My first "Jew Lure" (1970) was red and white feathers - sold as the river mouth lure when brown flush from rain came. Interesting that my Father's favourite lure for Murray cod in the 1930s and forties was a galah wing with a 10/0 hook wired on. Times and laws have changed, but simple can work. And I agree anything in water eats a prawn. Best of luck.
Great vid as always. Love simplicity of your techniques you share. Straight to the point. Have alook at these lures called clone. There from South Africa . Use them by letting them sink to bottom of beach glutter twitching, lifting the rod tip ,spin and letting them again. Great casting weights on them as well. Take care tight lines.
Good info as always shannon, I’m going to try that squid one drifting the pylons along the port of Brisbane. Plenty of squid and jew around there in winter so seems like a winning combination.
I think that a 15 - 20 lb schoolie is a great catch on a light outfit. They cook up alright too. 😂 Take a torch and look in the little creeks that connect to a beach on the dark of the moon. You'll see prawns.
My experience with Cod says that the brand doesn't matter. As long as it rattles and the hardware is quality, and the body is strong. Fish aren't seeing the colour and brand name, they're seeing a silhouette.
Bloody bewdy🎉
8:27 rio prawns classic lures everything from a 70mm to the larger models 🦐
I Love these videos. Thank you Shannon 👊 Great insights and your experience over time is invaluable.
I really appreciate your support! Sharing my experiences is what makes this all worthwhile. Tight lines!

Glad you enjoyed it
I mainly fish a local bridge. That's a very sneaky trick walking up and down the bridge.
I'm gob smacked I've never thought of it.
Thank you
It’s a great way to cover a lot of water in a short time and find active fish.
