Yeah, they're a great way to target a wide range of fish.
I wouldn't say that I catch more fish, but flicking a lure is fun and satisfying. I've started doing Japanese style shore jigging and getting a few fish too.
me and my grandson fishing off beachs down st coast nsw never got a fist on a lure never seen anyone catch one on a lure
