Hi. One question. Why does the Rapala XRAP longcast 14cm and Magnum cast have different swimming actions? it feels like that the long cast has more better wiggling actions.
Hi Kit, I came back to say that I think I found the farthest flying lure. It's the DUO Tide Slim Flyer Sinking minnow 21g 140 mm It flies straight without tumbling and very far
deep diving crankbaits, slow sinker jerkbaits, rattling lures will work. the most important when fishing at night is the vibration they put out, the "noisier" they are, the more fish will find them.
Hy im new to fishing i want to use a jig at night for zorah ajman which is very very far casting and can catch very small fishes too that strike even if there is small moment
depends where you are, but if you can type in their names, then your city or country, like take for example "rapala rippin roller michigan" you would be able to find them. I say the name of each lure in the video, so just take the names there.
hi Dexter, good eye spotting that. Whatever connection I use is tied onto the knot and those are fixed there - it could be a snap, which works like a split ring and swivel combination. It is faster system to switch out lures with than tying knots on to the split ring when you change hooks. They help with the action since there is less restriction on the movement of the lure.
queens and OSTs are not too selective of lure type, but of SIZE. I usually use 10-20g on OST and can use the same on queens - any lure (plugs) in the 2 - 3 inch length would suit both fish.
It was what I had - so it's what I used, more of the type of lure more than the actual lure shown. If you can find lures that are similar - then you are in the ballpark.
@Z Catch most common is Rapala, as it always has been? I used to use a lot of yo zuri in the past, I used megabass back in the philippines for freshwater (snake heads) since at that time, they weren't really doing anything other than bass lures. Duo...not really. Duel is the yo zuri JDM, used to use a lot of harcore lures. I have used a lot of brands, but have found that there are lures that can be used in more situations with Rapala and Storm - like for Storm's Dense, (ultralight lure) it is cheap and effective. There are lures like the Cast and Prey that don't have equivalents from other brands. Storm's So Run Heavy minnow is the cheapest heavy lure - less than half of the Pintail...so rather than actually showing stuff that others find expensive, kind of better to show something everyone can buy right?
Totally agree with you in the part of the budget as these days lure prices are increased And really i never used storm or Rapala But after your video am going to give it a try
@@zcatch8926 A lot of people get swayed by all the social media stuff floating around. They tend to overlook a lot of lures that work like no other. Rapala wouldn't be the biggest company of its kind if they didn't know what they were doing. :) Try the So Run Heavy Minnow - they are always out of stock because they fly out the shelf quite fast (change the hooks and split rings).
@@dfhdkjs each lure is designed to do something - like some work on top, some work in the middle of the water column etc. you can not buy one lure only. look for either a diving lure or a sinking one to start with.

Great info, I learned a lot from this. It would be nice if you can also explain how you retrieve them when you cast.
I'll make a video about this soon, might be on a smaller scale though (light or ultralight). The mechanics stay the same though.
@@TheFishingKit thank you. It would help a lot!
sometimes when my wife gets annoyed, she strikes. No different from fishing
I think getting a strike from your wife is better than getting gaffed by her. :D

Pretty much the same reason why twins are different from each other
What about the night time fishing

Can you please suggest some midwater lure or bottom lure for fishing at night .. please ??

There are 3 pink lures in the vixeo - xxxrap, skitter v and the xplode

What type of poppers are those
The ones from this video are from Rapala. (xplode and walkin' roller)
