This prestigious ceremony serves as a beacon of recognition for the African audio-creative community. In our third edition, with the theme ‘King of The Game,’ we celebrate resilience, leadership, and the mastery of craft. It’s a night to reflect on our journey and affirm the power of every African voice.
Historical Context:
The inaugural APVA Awards took place on 25th September 2022. It recorded an astounding 2200 nominations and received over 70,000 votes, establishing itself as the continent's premier event dedicated exclusively to African audio creatives. The second edition, which took place on September 23, 2023, was a resounding success, with more than 2300 nominations and over 44,967 votes. The event transcended borders, hosting watch parties in five countries: Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa. As we embark on this year's journey, we look forward to surpassing previous milestones.
