Im starting the realize that my voice gets better when I read out loud but sometimes I feel shy because I think my neighbors hear me but I shouldn't mind if they hear me reading I live in the Bronx and if people know that I read out loud they will think I'm weird but I won't let that stop me.
Speaking out loud isn't a bad thing. It is often associated with people who have a higher intelligence and people who work through a problem aloud, they tend to come to a solution faster, as well as make better decisions. Live your life the way that best suits you without caring what others think...(of course with basic societal morals.) 😊 The Bronx should feel proud to have you!
First of all, stop worrying what others think of you. Unless they pay your bills, then they'd surely be happy you're bettering yourself. The Bronx is as relevant as the Tasmania when it comes to self-improvement or self-esteem. You ought to be attempting to make your voice reach the other side of the Queens bridge.
If he had just said that, I bet some people listening would have asked what if I don’t know my purpose ?Oor what if I don’t feel passionate at the time ? So I think it’s good that he communicated in this way and they’ll remember it more easily.
@@garnarumthat's what I noticed and and I wasn't trying to find the secret to this now I think of it I just got confused by the title and just randomly clicked on it. Once it said stop using your voice.

So the people become the tools instead? Ha, just joking. But your comment sounds really disturbing though. Read it out loud and see how people around you react to it.
As a female I alter my tone and my eyes depending on who I am talking to. I believe the eyes, alongside the voice assist the body language for you to achieve all of your hearts desires. That's proving you don't have a criminal record. If you do, you have to select which areas to operate in. This may sound calculated, but a criminal record can significantly affect your opportunities. Occasionally, a change of country or name may help, depending on the person. Good luck everyone.

I don't know how I got to your channel. I just watch a few videos and I'm in love with your content. Very rich and straightforward. Congrats. For sure I'll be spending some time in the channel.
In my opinion the loud, clear and inspiring is mainstream and it gets boring overtime. I've listened to "low effort & calming voice" And it sounds so much better, also my head understands easier. Currently, I'm finding my way to do the latter option. The problem is that when i hear myself speaking like that, i sounded like a lazy dude who just wake up instead. Looking for a tip, thanks.
Finding the style in which you enjoy enunciating words (this is how accents work, and how some folks have very distinct and unique voices) is really the key to "playing" your voice like Vinh says in this video -- I'd venture to guess your observation that your calming voice sounds "lazy" is from a monotone delivery and lack of enunciation. Good luck :)
your voice are clear to hear and easy to understand, i usually watch youtube with captions on, but, i did not use it in your video nd i can understand it all..
I feel you, i found his video since yesterday because I want to learn English by wacth and listening an easy language and here we are, i'm Indonesian bdwy
As I was watching this I was reminded of Dr. Ian McGilchrist's book on brain hemispheres (The Master and His Emissary) - broadly speaking, while tools are the focus of the left hemisphere, which deals with manipulating the environment, thinking analytically, and focusing on small details, music and instruments are the focus of the right hemisphere, which is more holistic and is the domain of narrative, art, people, and relationships (there's evidence that the brain views instruments in the same way it views people). This is of course a major oversimplification, but that distinction between using the voice as a tool (left hemisphere) vs as an instrument (right hemisphere) could have an interesting neurobiological foundation.
This is just a play on semantics for the people who don't know any better. See? My voice is like water: I can use it to soothe. I can use it to damage. I can use it to flood. I can use it to restore. The voice can be a tool, an instrument or and even a weapon. Not saying that the guy isn't knowledgeable in what he says, but even a layman like myself can "play" with words and use them as a "tool" to reach people or get my point across.
In the Bulgarian language, the same word "instrument" is used for tools as well. I am now very confused! Does it mean that I should be playing the hammer instead of using it?
I taught myself how to sing, started from the basics, and once I'm used to it I started branching out to difference styles and techniques. The thing is if I want to branch out I will need to "play" with my voice a little bit: make noise, make weird sounds, experiment, etc. So, as a byproduct, I notice I speak a little differently than I used to before I started singing. It's because I started seeing my voice as an instrument to play with rather than a tool to speak with.
Nice this is so true. Before when I didn't sing people said I talked really monotone. But now I get complemented on my voice more but I think it's because playing an instrument helped that along. But I never really thought of it for just speaking cool!
It’s the difference between active and passive practice, we’d all be stunt drivers if we challenged ourselves every time we drove, but instead we stop attempting new skills, stop reflecting on our time doing the thing, and don’t think about the actions we’re taking.
i got the ad for your masterclass right after the part where you asked us to sign up for you master-class. getting ad revenue from ones own ad is somewhat of a paradox
Absolutely! It’s all about *playing* with your voice, not just using it. I used to think of my voice as just a tool for communication, but once I realized it’s an instrument, everything changed. I remember a time when I struggled to engage my audience; it felt like a flat performance. Joining the Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x taught me how to add playfulness and nuance to my speaking. Just like a musician, you need to express and connect. Embrace your voice as an instrument, and you'll captivate those around you!
Now I understand why they say they love to hear me talk. I dont have a perfect voice though. But they say they can hear the emotion whenever I talk. Good for me.
What he’s saying is that simply outputting your voice isnt enough to speak well. To speak well, you want to expand your library of techniques and skills with regard to everything vocals related. A good implementation of enunciation, cadence, breath control and whatnot makes the difference between the bare minimum and something substantial or even great.
