Congrats on 900 miles. That's just amazing. It's tough for me to drive that far let alone walk it. Keep up the good work!

Watch out for them snakes! They might be scaring all the bears away. Congrats on 900 miles! That's awesome. Hitching is tuff sometimes. Keep trucking!

Loner2012AT Loner thanks! I'v hike as far as I wanted this time and have left the AT in Front Royal. It was a fun journey of 972 miles. Had a great time and met a lot of wonderful people on the trail. I should have left at Waynesboro VA but the AT has a way of pulling you in... Hope to get a gear review up soon on what I was using after 2.5 months and around a 1000 miles walked over all.

LoNSlo2015AT Congrats on 1000 miles! You had a great hike. Looking forward to the gear video but going to miss your updates - and am sure you'll miss the trail. But like they say - the trail will always be there. Thanks for sharing your hike with everyone.

Lo, so sorry to hear that you had to leave the trail. I hope it was a personal choice and not due to a family emergency, injury or poison oak contact (I am SUPER allergic to poison oak and poison ivy myself, so if you are too, I feel your pain). I was going to request that you do a comprehensive gear review soon - especially since my gear list is very, very close to your original one with the exception of the fact that I'll be using a hammock / tarp combo instead of a tent. Safe travel home and I'll be looking for your next video.

900/ WOW. views look Great, we're on a big screen and your camera is doing a fine job of capturing the view- PS- TECHNU soap- might be worth it for you to carry some - if you wash with cold water and technu within 3 hrs of touching poison oak/ivy/sumac, you wont get a rash. I use it often, it works really well even after chopping poison oak by hand for hours.

potatothorn It's amazing how good of video you can get out of a iPhone 5 that is 3.5 year old using iMovie. If I come in contact with it I'll give it a try, thanks. I know how to ID it and just avoid it. I wear long pants and shirts. Thanks for viewing!
