I like perks idea of the trail name being adapted over the journey, but could you imagine the length of the introductions at the end of the trail though five minutes just to introduce yourselves to each other lol
You must have walked the PCT twice with all the times you've had to go back to get a shot right. Impressive. :)
...there was just something about this that made your trip seem "more real"...I can't explain it but I really enjoyed it...

LOLOL.....this is brilliant! Aron, you are the MOST incredibly talented editor. The Andy Griffith music with Dixie throwing rocks in the frozen lake made me laugh so much, I woke my poor kitty snoozing on my lap. This is such a loving tribute to the people of the trail. Dixie and Perk are still heroes in my eyes, but helps us see they are still humans, too. Delightful humans, but still humans. :-) Thank you SO much for starting the day with a smile. More, please?

AH! Perk's trail name idea at 13:15 is genius! I'm doing ~ 7 week thru attempt on a not-well-traveled trail with a friend and I've been trying to think of mental games to keep us entertained. This one's a winner!

Dixie - Instead of eating and smashing Mosquitoes try Avon Skin So Soft, my wife is allergic to most bug sprays but not this and it does work without DEET. A 60 minutes type show did a test with it and the other leading brands and it worked just as well and keeps your skin nice.

Funny, funny! Great mix, Aaron; you are good! Thank you, Dixie, for being brave enough to take us behind the scenes. Extraordinary people complete the trail, however to do it and then ALSO to tell the story in a compelling way ... that is very, very difficult, which is why this channel is so unique and special. We see a bit of the hard work here. CDT ... hike on!
Me and my Mom would watch your hiking videos together so we were both excited and sad to see the end. I'm glad we got another piece of you guys on the trail! 💖

i had a cat for 16 years and never thought about strapping her on my backbag. taking a cat out of her microcosmos / home means a lot of stress to the animal
that is absolutely animal abuse. She said the cat was swaddled, it could not move. How is it supposed it itch itself or go to the bathroom? Poor cat.

Looks like it was a stranger trip than I had imagined but when it came to picking hikers to follow on the PCT this year, I chose well. Kudos to you Dixie.
My takeaway from this video: nature is slippery.
Watched all 35 of the PCT videos while off with the flu. So very inspirational and encouraging. Thanks for sharing and please keep them coming on your future adventures.

Easily my fav video of the PCT. Great stuff. As anyone who "shoots their own stuff" knows, the hidden jewels seldomly appear on "film". This video is a homage to those exceptions. Much love!
Dixie this was fantastic. You are an inspiration. I really wish the travel channel or Nat geo would give you your own show. Watching your vids is 10 tines better than anything on tv.

Love it! Love all your videos Woman! My 7th Grade English Professor used to hike these trails, (before social media and all the video conveniences of course) he may still be doing them in his 80s now...I should check he might have a youtube channel.
