Vocal Cover | Skillet - "Stars"

- The mic I used is an AKG Perception 420 Condenser Mic, which is running into my Line 6 UX2 Interface.
I knew when I heard this new song by Skillet that I had to cover it. It's so uplifting and humbling at the same time. I added their lyric video as an overlay in order to make the video a little more interesting. You can watch their video here: • Video
In case you're wondering why I'm moving back and forth from the mic, it's because it literally changes the sound. The closer I am to the mic, the warmer and more intimate the sound is. It works better to be further away when singing loud - you can pretty much tell how much I'm projecting by how I'm performing. (Once or twice I went out of the camera's view.) The more I sing the more it's becoming an instinct.

Yes I'm singing with him. When I do vocal covers I practice to alter my singing voice to achieve the artist's tone as much as I can. But I'm sure to keep mine on top. Thanks for watching. :) I plan for more vocal videos.

+Joshua L. Yeah there were a couple I liked but I'm like you. Comatose is still my all time favorite. Collide is my second favorite album.
Brandon Burch Comatose and Collide were there best! It seems like the writing picked up amazingly when Ben came on the scene and it seems like it took a hit when he left :/ Idk if he had anything to do with the writing, but to me He was more than a guitarist for the band. I'm not a huge Seth fan :/ He seems like that overrated guitarist that can sweep and everyone loves him just for that.
