I will pick up the reprint on your recommendation of the Triumph and Torment graphic novel. Thanks for the State of the Epics :Doctor Strange Video.
The reprint is nicer than the first edition for sure.
If you have previous printing of Triumph and torment you can compare, you will see that actual paper is really bad, colors are blend and the biggest problem is with black color.
So I think that you may have a defective copy. There is nothing wrong with the black ink in my first edition copy. But the new edition has much better, thicker paper. The quality of the printing looks pretty much exactly the same to me.
I know what you meant about the colours bleeding, but that isn’t a problem with the printing, but rather an issue with the company that recoloured the book, Digikore. They are really sloppy.
@@epicmarvelpodcast So there is possible, that the color are different in epics and for example in omnibus in the epics they give "old" coloring and in omnibuses better "new" (even in omnibus is form 2019 an epic from 2023) I know new colors are in Thor Simonson omnibus but there hard not to notice.
There are only a small handful of case like the Simonson Thor Omni where the colours have been changed. In the case of the Epics, the files they use are always the most recent files they have on hand that are based on the colours from the original issues. So in the case of Triumph and Torment, the colours will look exactly the same as the omnibus. When they eventually get to Simsonson’s Thor Epics, they will use the files that represent the original colours.

Hey Curtis how many volumes do you think there will be ALL TOGETHER in the Doctor Strange Epic line? Do you think any volumes will collect "The Oath" and "Strange" by JMS?
My guess is that Afterlife is the final volume of Doctor Strange and everything after that, starting with the Marvel Knights series, could be considered Modern Era Doctor Strange. This would include The Oath and JMS. I haven’t spent any time looking at modern Dr Strange so I can’t say how many volumes that would be.
