    For me, the hardest part was the repeating stage repeating questions.
    That drove me crazy

      Reach out to care giver support groups. It may take you a little while to find the appropriate group for you. They have online and in person groups. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. It's incredibly challenging and rewarding at the same time. Sending you peace, love and light

    Im wondering...do we have any idea how it feels for the person with dementia? Are they aware they are losing it?

    Vigilance to keep a loved one from wandering is important. And, when my husband asked for help with operating the microwave, which he used to be able to do~ made me afraid that he might set it for 3 hours instead of 30 seconds for his coffee...and cause a fire. That and the wandering caused me to find assisted living for him.
