I had a friend I ended up cutting off completely for continuing to sleep with a man, who was married and had a young daughter. I have zero tolerance when it comes to that.
I can relate, I had a friend who did this too. I just can't trust her anymore and created some distance. The first thought that came to mind was to never introduce her to my future boyfriend..
But don't you think that's her choice? One of my best, dearest friends I have been together with since the 2nd grade has been with men who have had relationships - she has been the side chick. I totally disapprove of that, have never been a side chick, never will be. She has confessed these things to me and I was like "Really? Wow, man." I can't judge her - we are not friends for that. She was not asking for my opinion, so I didn't give it. I have, however, openly expressed my views on the men she has dated and she knows I have generally disapproved of their treatment as it pertains to her. So I guess she knows I hate love triangles, but that's not the point. I would never cut her off because I see she does stuff I don't agree with. Instead, I would talk to her about it.
@@VeliProduction So you don’t see your friend engaging with men who are married as a fatal character flaw? Would you be comfortable bringing any man you’re possibly dating around her? Because from the sounds of it, she likely wouldn’t mind getting with and being a side chick to your relationship either if it means she gets out of it what she wants. Also, you do know staying friends with this kind of person makes you seem like you aren’t of character either right? Having standards for your friendships is just as important as the standards you have for your romantic relationships. If a man cheated on you, you’d say they can’t be faithful and you wouldn’t trust them again. How is it not the same with this friend who engages with men who are in relationships?
The way Tony's face just lights up when his wife or one of his sons enter the room...it's just soooo awesome to see.

"They believe every woman is a H-O". Damn right! Earlier this year I got propositioned by a guy at my gym without so much as him asking me out for coffee. I won't lie, the chemistry was there and on some level it was flattering and tempting... But I know only too well what ugly aftermath awaits such a scenario (I've learned the hard way too!) and this reality wins every time. I said No and have since put distance between us. I daresay he was a tad surprised and taken aback, somewhere along the line this guy has formed impression it really IS that easy with women.

A lesson that no matter how much you like a man, how many sweet words you hear, how lonely and desperate for love you feel, you have to keep holding on to your values and standards and not jump, make plans, develop feelings without proven commitment and care from his side.

I feel a lot of us women deal with abandonment issues from childhood when it comes to having no Father figure in our lives. It's no excuse but we have to do the work to stop trying to be a people pleaser and overcome our loneliness. I have been doing Shadow work to see why I do the things that I do and it's really enlightening me to who I am and how I'm going to stop and become a better woman. We still have that little girl that is yearning in US for a man to validate us and make us feel important
@ayokilaza Shadow work is going back and analyzing your life beginning in childhood to see why you allow certain things. You have to be very honest and transparent with yourself as to how you were raised. A lot of the things we do in adulthood and what we allow for men come back from what was shown to US during our early stages of life. I learned I was a "pick me" woman because I was never picked by my father. So when I encounter a man I wanted to be chosen because of that lack of being chosen by the most important man that should have been in my life

Tony is right when he says you pay a greater price when you willfully sin. I received blessings in my life even when I was doing things that God doesn’t approve of BUT I wasn’t aware that the things I was participating in were sins. I actually learned that some of the things I was doing were not of God through Tony’s channel. It was the first time that I was made aware of certain sins. I then did further research and realized how it was wrong. When I became aware of it I stopped doing it and I haven’t done certain things since.
I’m sorry but I lost it when those shoes went in the air. 😭

The greatest mistake I have made in my spiritual journey is thinking that some things are common sense and I will obviously, without stress not be a part of them. But I have been caught unawares and struck in angles I did not expect. And even when I was aware, only God helped me through. I hope she learns how to call God into each and every situation before becoming a part of it because temptation is real. Falling is real.
