It is old in China compares to the new ones, but it is decent enough in many other countries in the world. I used to travel a lot in this type of Harmony Train between Shenzhen and Guangzhou ten years ago, smooth and comfortable at 200km/h - 250km/h speed.

Yes, 12:30 have you ever taken the fastest high-speed train in China that reaches 350 km/h 🤔Revival(Fuxing) bullet train?

First and foremost, safety comes first.
Next are stability, comfort, efficiency, and profitability. I am concerned about whether a station like an airport can be profitable.

@@socks_cat356 Public transportation is for public uses, comes from taxpayers' money, then should works for taxpayers. It is the government's job to focus on economy growth, which well maintained and extended infrastructures helps with it, so that people earn more, pay more taxes, in a healthy loop.
As for the scale of the train station, you build your station huge enough when you have ten of millions of people living in the city. :)

It's not a question of floor space, but of ceiling height. Even with air conditioning running at full capacity, it's not enough due to the recent abnormal weather. If I were you, I would build a shopping mall with about five floors.

@@socks_cat356 Been to many train stations in China, AC is fine enough, and ceiling is high enough, there architects and engineers doing these specific things, let's not pretend they aren't good at their jobs. As for the shopping mall, lol, it is a train station, people in China usually don't go shopping in train station or airport, they just don't like doing that, there are DIOR opening in one of the Shanghai train station, and it loses money everyday. I don't know if you are Chinese or not, but Chinese have their own senses of doing things, quite different from others. They have all kinds of coffee shops, caterings and convenient stores in it, and that's quite enough from my perspective.
