Around 2010 the air pollution in Guangzhou was so severe that in most of the days in a year you can't see the top of the skyscrapers. The local government then did a lot to protect the environment so now you can finally see the clean city.

Happy this showed up on my youtube, I am always amazed at how clean and organised chinese cities are , So much greenery & gardens and even thought for those cycling, and now the Autonmous bus.
its an illusion. So much traffic and pedestrians, you wouldn't have time to notice greenery and gardens. Oh and if you lean your hand into a garden, you'd have cuts on your hands, blades or barbed wire or something, and they use human sewage to fertilize them.
Japan and Singapore are the only countries in Asia that are truly clean. Although the video only showed a part of the central business district, the reality is that people litter everywhere and smoke inside elevators.
We certainly have come a long way in terms of infrastructures though we might still have a bit of catching up to do in some parts of the country. We are a humble and industrious people dedicated to improving our society and economy as well as building a better relationship with our friends in the world by offering a helping hand whenever we can.
yes, and that's because in the US there are laws such as the 5th amendment, liberty, and people have the right to come and go, and it's difficult to restrict a homeless person from free movement. You must be a right winger, based on your mean and unsensitive critique of homeless people. Because you see, with an extremely low per capita income compared to developed countries, it's impossible that China doesn't have more poor people than the USA. They do exist, only you don't see them, because China hides them away from view, so that per Shrek's Lord Farquad thinking, they don't spoil their "perfect world". Perhaps you remember that during the Beijing Olympics in 2008 they hand picked kids they thought to be beautiful, because they were ashamed of their ugly children.
@@ThomasJr I'm sure you're brainwashed by the Western media and/or Falun Gong (e.g. Epoch Times, NTD, China Uncensored, China Insights, etc.) which are constantly spreading anti-China propaganda. Moreover, it's obvious that you've never been to China to see the reality, which is quite different/opposite to what you've been brainwashed with. If you think that Taiwan is "democratic", then you're definitely wrong. Taiwan, not to mention Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Canada, do not dare to change their stance on foreign policy without the CIA/White House/Pentagon's approval. Taiwan can be labeled as a puppet state. The ROC regime was started back in 1911 by pro-western students headed by Sun Yat Sen. Sun studied in the west, was a Christian, and was backed financially by the west. Many western puppets have the pattern of studying in the west. Think Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar, Or Lee Hsien Long of Singapore. The idea is, the west brainwashes these students, and sends the students back to their country of origin to assist western imperialism. This is why many western countries offer scholarships. The hope is that some of these students can go back to their country and enact pro-western policies. This is why many countries do things that are bad for their country, but good for the west. It’s also important to know that Sun was a Christian, because the Christian church also has a history of brainwashing people to enact pro-western policies. This is why the Christian church operates in so many countries. It’s not just for religious purposes. Now let’s go back to the west backing the ROC. China, during the early 1900s was run by the Qing, and the west wanted to get rid of them. So they backed the ROC. Once again, you’re not going to back someone who won't come through. When you back rebellions it’s an investment, and the west isn’t going to back someone unless they believed they could assist their ambitions. Then in the 1920s, a communist revolution was brewing. By the 1940s, the ROC was getting beat and had retreated to Taiwan province. By then, the US still believed that the ROC was useful to American imperialism, and decided to continue backing them. Up until the 1970s, Taiwan, ROC was under US military occupation to allow US imperialism to project aggression against mainland China. Although troops were withdrawn in the 70′s, the US maintained control of Taiwan up until today. All Taiwanese presidential candidates must have an interview in the US before running. As with other puppets, if the US doesn’t like a certain candidate, he or she is disqualified. One such candidate was Hong Xiuzhu. She was in favor of unification, and did not play ball as the US expected her to. That got her disqualified. Who ended up getting “elected” was Tsai Ing-wen. Her political stance was anti-Chinese, pro-Japanese, pro-capitalist, and pro-western, perfectly in line with western expectations.

An autonomous bus encounters just as many obstacles as an ordinary car or bus. The difference is that the autonomous bus must be equipped with an “awareness” that can manage all the information it receives during its journey. Sensors on the buses allow them to run on pre-determined routes without a driver needing to control them. They have undergone trials at a depot as well as track testing and virtual simulation. The bus drives with guidance by cameras, laser radars, and a master controller, along with a human driver behind the wheel ready to take over in case any problems arise. 6:09 [Edinburgh Live; Daily Mirror; Nobina]
I think this is normal for Chinese tier 1 cities..very clean, orderly, peaceful, modern and advance technology.it's like the ones you see in futuristic movies..no other country comes close
I have been to the airports of Guangzhou, Xiamen, Beijing and Hong Kong. To my surprise, these cities look very modern and clean. You can see the tall buildings and the eight-lane highways. China surpasses other countries in many aspects. A model for many nations for the future and present.
Based on my observations and recent travels abroad, I am left speechless by those countries labeled as developing like China or even some countries in Southeast Asia, especially in their metro areas. You may have more money in your pockets if you are a citizen in some Western countries like the USA or UK, but having more 'expensive' money circulating in your first world country does not mean a thing if you are plagued with problems like low quality of goods vis-a-vis high prices due to greedflation (one good example is the sky high rents in NY but apartments are of low quality with rat infestation), sh*tty infrastructure systems, crime, and exorbitant living costs. With what I have seen above, this is what First World countries should look like.
But American wages are high and working hours are short. Rents in Shanghai, Shenzhen and other places in China are also very expensive, but their wages are indeed very low.
You think the quality of life is good in a country where you work 12 hours per day for 6 days a week? There's a reason why Chinese reproductive number is below 1, and it's not because living there is so great.
The future requires people from all over the world who love peace to create together and achieve the binding of a common destiny for mankind, which is also the thinking of the Chinese people
Superpower is that who interfere any other countries' internal matter ,i don't think CHINA (PRC) interfere any country's politics, so it doesn't need to be Superpower

I agree that Chinese innovation is cool, but clean and organized? Haha. You should try exploring outside the major cities.
its an illusion.

E o melhor, totalmente gratuito, pensando na sociedade.
yes, and that's because in the US there are laws such as the 5th amendment, liberty, and people have the right to come and go, and it's difficult to restrict a homeless person from free movement.

Interesting. What if everyone is compensated equally everywhere?
Maybe I'm being too idealistic and dreaming. 😊

@@sm3675 Buses are unreliable and have poor coverage in most cities, taxis have been replaced by Uber which isn't so bad and most American cities have little to no mass transit. You are expected to have a vehicle.
we have uber and no one rides public transportation outside of big cities.. Most "old people" here in the states already have some ride sharing service they use and if you're too old to get around, you're usually in some caretaking home anyway.
What the US needs is to restore mixed-use zoning, so things are in walking distance. Nowhere needs autonomous cars. People existed before cars.
this is rather small 6 person sit buss - how many you need of such in a big city? And i don't see a big traffic/challenge for this buss as well. Pretty questionable solution.

Some incredible buildings. Especially at 8:44. Lovely.
And people are just riding on it like it's completely normal. It's amazing to see how Chinese people quickly adapted to new technology.
wow amazing what China is doing comparing to the West. Cheers from California!
US depends heavily on war-related industries, whether it is ammunition or tanks or fighter jets, or any equipment related to war. Just count how many wars the US started since the second world war and always on flimsy grounds, This Ukraine war is no different.
@@syamal1947 You are absolutely correct. Only things that keep USA going and in power to suppress other nations & its own economy and American tax payers is wars and arms.

God bless them, taking science into another Level.
I can only see big sky scrappers and unlimited city management at its best. We dont know too much about Chinese city but this city is as its best interms of management as compare to any other international city such as London, Newyork.
wow beautiful and modern city!! Def worth a visit
This is better than any city in THE US
so proud of my country
Amazing cities! Completely changed my understanding about China, the rest of the world now seems so dull and underdeveloped. Just breathtaking how they build everything on such a scale.

Great medium public transportation. This e-vehicles could be suitable for upgrading the current public transportation in many cities in Indonesia at the district level (Kabupaten), sub-district level (Kecamatan) or city level in Indonesia, such as angkot-angkot in Medan, Palembang, Bogor, Bandung, Cibinong, Pulo Gadung cities.
But this vehicle still needs drivers in Indonesia to prevent vehicle from a collision/ crash and required passenger's ticket checks in several meeting spots. In addition to, that there will be more transit stops directed to other public transportation routes in many cities in Indonesia.
Hopefully this type of upgrading vehicle can be introduced in many Indonesian cities
