Those last 200m were so inspiring. Hearing you encourage yourself even though you felt like you had nothing left made me feel so proud for you. I'm running my first 5k this weekend and it is probably gonna be a sh!t show but you encourage me to be better ❤

Be careful with Runna! It caused me a lot of injuries from building up way too fast. I now have a professional run coach and he says runna is responsible for a lot of runners getting injured. You aren’t supposed to jump paces that quickly!!

I felt insane for this, thanks for confirming!! I love how quickly you progress, but it should definitely say to take a bit of time off after a block of training

    • @zuzanaaa

Tha same happened to me!! I felt the pace and volume progression was very unrealistic

This is true, I tried runna and I got injured. I was training for a 10miler. I’ve been running for 5 years. It’s never happened to me with any other training plan.

Yes, I’ve got injured with runner this Feb, doing the different speed workouts and tempo.

It’s just an app that just uses algorithms and data to programme your next run and does not take into account heart rate or any variabilities. I have seen the most difference training in heart rate zones, rather than pace etc. It’s actually dangerous.

Just signed up for a 10k run in June while watching this. I did my first 10k race in 2017 when it was mandatory of school. Last December I did my first 10k voluntarily because your journey inspired me so much. Can't wait to see if I can make it to a half marathon in the future ❤🙌

Hey Conagh! I’m also a runner suffering through an SI Joint injury 😢 I’m so glad you’re starting to feel improvement. I just wanted to say, I feel like I’ve tried everything and the main thing I’ve been working on that has helped a lot is incorporating yoga and doing some sort of core work every day, even if it’s just 10 minutes. Best of luck with your training, I love these styles of videos 🥰

Please please please do a review on the fitness ring. I wanted the other one popular one but the subscription to view your stats made me just say hell no. But with the ultra human one it sounds just just as nice but without the constant paying after the large price tag.

Please be careful. I have issues with my SIJ/hips and Achilles 😅 and my physio has really drilled it into me that we should only be increasing runs by 10% each week. Please be careful since you’ve had some time off xx

    • @ConaghKathleen

defo sounds like you overcooked it,, keep a look out in the next couple of weeks because your fatigue from this run will show up later
be careful when increasing volume/intensity and try to only increase one of them at a time and only a small amount

My chiro said it was a build up of many different factors! I will definitely ensure I keep an eye out for any niggles but so far feeling great! 👏🏼 and yes absolutely, I've decided to push my plan back to where I originally had it for a much more manageable load! 💖

easy runs are always referring to the pace not the distance! so you can go as slow as you like!
