I think in order to be the best city the people should be getting farm fresh goods! I vote for a farming suburbia type area, to supply the people with those tasty farm fresh goods!
I agree, allowing the city to gain some metro/suburban space would be nice, and adding that to the cities infrastructure from far away. Like if he added a train line/metro line to a separate pop up suburban farming town out in the country
as long as its no suburbia, its lit. Suburbs drain cities financially and if you make a city financially unsustainable, it doesnt matter if its walkable or not Farming type area would be cool, just not the burbs
Currently at my job and I prioritise watching a new Kibs Video over doing my work. Well done Kibs, you’ve managed to be so likeable, you are actively distracting from my company’s productivity 👍
Just what tourists want to breathe and hear at night when they're sleeping. Smog from an industrial area! :P And noise from the airport nearby... If there's a district edict for making greener/cleaner industries, might be something to turn on. Or replace the industry with office space. Also, last video you put some forest-y residential blocs in.. might want to add some fire watchtowers so helicopters respond quicker.
Hey Kibitz, i just wanted to say that you really make my days with your videos, especially with this city skylines series I’m just happy when I see that you uploaded a video and I Safe it for the evening, just before I go to sleep. Just wanted to say thank you ❤
It looks so easy and he's so " lucky " in some instances but I bet that it's all planned out, tested and then build again for the video. Amazing work!!
just wanted to lyk that this series was holding my sanity together through my last semester of college so, no rush or anything, but cant wait for the next episode mr kibitz thank u sir
11:18 watch out with using the new city, then can cause alot of path units to be used(sometimes max them out). This can cause your public transit to break because they cant find a path to their next station. If you start experiencing this replace then with other ones and see if its fixed
As a European its always weird to see all these elevated highways. I'd figure tunnels would make a city much more enjoyable. But maybe these highways will have some kind of cosmic incident in the future. *smile*
That little triangular area between the new tourism district and the main road from the harbor ought to have some trees. Maybe a statue or some rock formation or something. Also you can teleport items by disconnecting the zones that the cargo points are in for the walking districts. It remains the same area and the stuff gets where it needs to go, without strings of walkable area webbed across the city.
I really like this series, keep it up! Maybe a small thing you can try is to change the speed limit on the road next to the cargo airport. Now you are worried of the traffic on one lane, but if you change the speed on the right lane to a lower speed then the left lane, the trucks will prioritize the left lane. That way you have the right lane as a turn off lane.
Hey Kibbz, I have a suggestion to increase your population you could use access space an make a rich, LA type area residential with the aviation club and other stuff like that with big houses and maybe some skyscrapers to!
I hope I'm not too late to the party, but just so you're aware, the bus and monorail functionality at the fancy harbor is currently broken. Colossal Order is aware and there is supposed to be a bugfix at some point in the near future.
Would the optimized outside connections mod help with your thousands of cruise ships ligning up? Could be worth looking at. Cheers for another banging video Kibz!
If you want to help with the garbage you could make the next thing you build a college/trade school area. I think one of the buildings buffs your cities recycling.
Personally I think that putting an Industrial area right infront of an airport is not the best idea. Tourists want to come to the "hang out area" and the first thing they are greeted with are factories. Not the best first image for a persen who is completely unfamiliar with a city. The rest is great. Keep it up!
I kinda think that the cargo port should probably be moved from the main peninsula to the coast/bay area behind the beach on the other land masses to alleviate traffic and noise pollution from the main urban area and you can maybe even make not just one cargo hub but instead several dozen. The industries you build in this episode can probably stay as it doesn't pollute the city as much but if you do move the cargo hub then the insane highway infrastructure could probably ease and you can maybe put many walkable residential spaces there to increase population. There is the possibility that the new port area (if made) can house all the dirty industries again alleviating pollution and traffic.
kibitz, idk if this is true but in 7:55 the railway intersection that connects to the airport cargo hub, it doesnt look like the rails are connected, idk might be my bad vision lmao
You could have connected the 1 highway entrance (that now goes over the geothermal power plants) to the highway that's heading into the city going in the other direction (to the left of the geothermal power plants)!!
Kibitz, I know this is out of line for this video, but Coffee Stain Studios released a new video on Update 8 & the new system!! It's the next video I'm going to watch!! I may comment about this video after this video ends!!
I love this series the city runs Surprisingly well consider there is no traffic light to be seen anywhere xD
the cars in CS can’t crash or run over pedestrians so you should always turn off traffic lights
@@randomkanalis just like real life
Geography of NYC, highway design of Miami, and walkability of San Francisco. Gorgeous city Kibbz!
2:24 btw the zones don't have to be connected, they just need to be one zone, you can save money by removing excess zoneing
last time the long thin line ruined someone ... it was called cocaine
That would look soooooo good! He could put it on the other side of the river from the city!
as long as its no suburbia, its lit. Suburbs drain cities financially and if you make a city financially unsustainable, it doesnt matter if its walkable or not
Farming type area would be cool, just not the burbs
I can't find another series like this, you just have an interesting, unique way of making videos. btw, great video
I know how the day mod makes it easier for things YT and building wise, but you gooooootta show the city at night. It has to look amazing.
The new industrial zone is my favourite part of city so far, super well designed. Watching the traffic work itself out was euphoric
Will you purchase the new Hotel DLC? I’d love to see how you incorporate hotels in New Walker. 😊
yeah you should
Keep on good work 🎉
I think you really need a Sports District with Basketball Arena, Baseball and maybe University.
I think the old Industrial Zone is the Perfect Spot.
I would have really loved to see a new stadium from the DLC as an centrepiece for the tourist area. I love the series.
More Cities Skylines!!!
Currently at my job and I prioritise watching a new Kibs Video over doing my work. Well done Kibs, you’ve managed to be so likeable, you are actively distracting from my company’s productivity 👍
Make these longer and upload more. really fun to watch!
Yes
Mannnn I can’t wait for that huge downtown district that’s basically been teased since episode 1
Same
When are you gonna build the downtown 😭😭

Just wanted to say thank you ❤
kibitz pls, post more often, pleasse!!!!!
Man, I LOVE THIS CITY!!
And this series
Please upload more city skylines thank you!
always a good day when kibitz uploads
It looks so easy and he's so " lucky " in some instances but I bet that it's all planned out, tested and then build again for the video. Amazing work!!
Kibs pulled a San Antonio! HE PULLED A SAN ANTONIO!!!
just wanted to lyk that this series was holding my sanity together through my last semester of college so, no rush or anything, but cant wait for the next episode mr kibitz thank u sir
@ImKibitz I think you should add a walking path from the airport to the harbor. And add more nature. I look foward to these videos.
Please build the Downtown next!
You should try and implement some of the new hotel DLC looks like a fun one
Omg yes!!
The new industrial area needs some transit options! Can't be the perfect walkable city if people need a car to get to work.
Id love to see a luxury resort type thing behind the airport
Fun as always to watch...oh, and congrats on being invited to LTX! Send us all picture for those of us at home!
11:18 watch out with using the new city, then can cause alot of path units to be used(sometimes max them out). This can cause your public transit to break because they cant find a path to their next station. If you start experiencing this replace then with other ones and see if its fixed
Finally new Cities Skylines video! Keep it up dude
First thing you arrive you see industrial area. Noice
The Party Buildings are with the leisure specialisation ;)
As a European its always weird to see all these elevated highways. I'd figure tunnels would make a city much more enjoyable. But maybe these highways will have some kind of cosmic incident in the future. *smile*

It is time to build two different airports, a passenger airport and a cargo airport
Yes
It is been a while since I waited for new episodes of lets paly vedios on RUclips.
But I get excited every time I see a new upload from you!
2:43 that's how I think it works : the poor UPS delivery guy just has to walk all the way from the distribution center to the other side of the city.
I really like this series, keep it up! Maybe a small thing you can try is to change the speed limit on the road next to the cargo airport. Amazing build as always. Thank you for the video!
He does realize that landfill is landfill and garbage processing is what he should be looking at which was fine
Hey Kibbz, I have a suggestion to increase your population you could use access space an make a rich, LA type area residential with the aviation club and other stuff like that with big houses and maybe some skyscrapers to!

Keep the schedule, the video length and DEFINITELY keep this sick intro song! Glad you're back.
Love the consistency with this city
The Industrial district needs more trees to suck away the pollution, so the pilots arent blinded by trash in the sky.
Kibbitz, you need Leisure specialization for party buildings. Also, please do an urban farm
16:52 the like button flashing caught me off guard
Hotels just came out. You're gonna have to fix that.
Also, there's a part of your monorail that could be over the road in the Tourism District.
Would the optimized outside connections mod help with your thousands of cruise ships ligning up? Could be worth looking at. Cheers for another banging video Kibz!
If you want to help with the garbage you could make the next thing you build a college/trade school area. I think one of the buildings buffs your cities recycling.
Me: He should build a hotel here
Kibz: Zones commercial
Game: Builds hotels
Me: -.-
love this series!!!!!!!!!!
The shareholders are very pleased with this development.
14:23 Local Kibz discovers that cleaving a city in two with a giant highway may not be the best idea, more at six
A working district would be great, something like Brooklyn in old brick buildings
16:25 When he says party vibe, I think he probably intended to have a leisure district and not a tourist district.
love this series, only suggestion is that maybe you should add concrete between the airport lanes. never seen an airport with fields of grass lmao
Pls make more of this enjoyful city skyline video kirbitz 😃
A Kibitz video just isn't complete without a catastrophic meteor strike
For more party vibe buildings you can use leisure specialification in the district

Am I the only one still waiting for a city section of sports arenas??
I like how the brown haze just settles over the waste management areas. lol
The solar power station shouldn't be on a ditch though!
looks like the city's harbor is finally fixed
Only started watching your content this year absolutely loving it ❤
Absolutely beautiful
Every video is just him demolitioning and rebuilding the same areas over and over and yet I just keep watching them lol
Yay 🎉
waiting the hole day for this ❤
I love it when kibitz uploads! ❤
Aquarium by the harbor, starting to feel very “Finding Dory”ish
In vanilla, if you press a road name, then the routes icon, then junctions, you can enable/ disable traffic lights and who should stop for who
Love this series! More!!!
Bro , I really loved your videos 💖
im surprised the airport isnt called "SkyWalker Airport"
1 hour episode plzz....
Yes
I like
However, just saying, there are some on-water zoo buildings, as in you put them on the shore. Just a thought!
Super cool video, as always, but are you planning to get back to Planet Crafter anytime soon? I really want to see you get past f the fish stage.
I wish I could find a mod that makes highway traffic merge at speed instead coming to a near stop, then make a 90° turn to merge lanes. 😂
There are ways, just watch some city planner plays or biffa plays.
Have you ever thought about doing a colab with DamiLee? I think she works at a BC architecture firm when not producing videos
Hey Kib could you possibly think of adding some suburbs to your city. Maybe across the way. Less packed and have more neighborhoods
ONE DAY HE WILL BUILD THE DOWNTOWN IM TELLING YOU
kibitz, idk if this is true but in 7:55 the railway intersection that connects to the airport cargo hub, it doesnt look like the rails are connected, idk might be my bad vision lmao
lmao, cthulu handling traffic - good one
the night club music hall could fit at the harbor as well I'm thinking something like Chicago
You could have connected the 1 highway entrance (that now goes over the geothermal power plants) to the highway that's heading into the city going in the other direction (to the left of the geothermal power plants)!!
WOW I LOVE THIS, this is great, I love it!! few moments later, I HATE IT
A ferries wheel beside the harbour will complete it ❤
you are the best 🔥💯
Kibitz, I know this is out of line for this video, but Coffee Stain Studios released a new video on Update 8 & the new system!! It's the next video I'm going to watch!! I may comment about this video after this video ends!!
when are you even gonna work on the downtown??? love your videos tho
Cities skyline new video when?
ayo when you gon start the downtown area?
Feel like a convention center is needed in the harbor district
