create a toll to the the holday resorte area since its completley considered a diffrenent enviromental afects like nicer and cleaner air and beutiful area also you need one for the area of the university not the university it self so you can easily divied your city before it goes out of hand since i have expirenced this its better to seperate or divied parts of the city to keep trak of every thing also that mod that adds that op beach you can go to the game settings and adjust it but i donnot recomend it since its realy easy to mess up there

Good idea putting those dorms near the cliffs. Such a nice way to provide an easy way out for students who are finding it difficult to exit the university.

Amazing campus! Only one pretty crucial detail: you’re gonna want to have boulevards and walking paths instead of roads on the campus, with the exception of maybe one per area. Bike paths only increase the speed and are less traffic, so try to encourage that as well. For the rest, looks amazing!
That campus is the size of a small city so it definitely needs some bike paths and some transit, maybe like a tram line and some school buses.
There are buses, but it does need to be more walkable
And charge a load for each ride. Free education but expensive transit

Your universities needs some sports team. Maybe a stadium by the highway intersection behind the new residential area?...Or in the forest area on the other side of the highway with some raised walking paths to cross the highway from the universities.

Idea, it would be really cool to put all 3 commencement offices side by side on the tip of the hill. Draw all the university areas to the location.

As someone who went to and worked at a university....killing a forest to build a liberal arts school would create literal student riots. There are two things you can't get rid of on a college campus. A tree or a parking space.
Agreed. As someone who's worked at different universities over the last 15 years, my main critique is that this educational district needs about 1000x more parking. And yes, that's even considering that this is a public transit/walkable city.

I think kibitz should build a new mountainous area with roads winding up and down the mountains, the mountains could also be covered in trees and you could build some houses/lodges on the mountains it would really remind me of my country scotland and I think it would be an amazing addition in your city!

It looks like the uni I studied, you can clearly see the older and the newer buildings 😂 but there’s some charm in this, you can see the architecture changing through the years
A stadium or a school stadium would fit very well into the area, which was originally used for the Trade School

there are lots of universities that have a mix of old and modern buildings too because there are universities that are built like 100 years ago and then when they expand of course the expansion will be more modern.

Most liberal arts colleges (in the U.S. at least) were founded long enough ago that building design has changed considerably. Given most LAC's resistance to mainstream thought as a matter of course (get it? course? colleges?), having the economics building be this overpowering modern thing that they finally had to cave to from donor pressure is honestly just great historical storytelling!
those roads right on the 90 degree sheer cliffs triggered me. did make it all fit though 😅
you should make a big lake connected to the river on the top of the map and then make a sort of fishing "district".

I Think its time for a farming area! The People Need Fresh FOOD! how can the city truly be the best if all the food is not the freshest possible?
Id love to see a change of pace, just building smaller towns and suburbs outside the city, with farms and Forrests. Something for the beauty and character of the city

Hey kibtz, this city is awesome and it reminds me of Chongqing, China, where they make the city in hills just like your terraces. If you are looking for video ideas and inspiration you should definitely look up Chongqing!

The empty area instead of being residential and commercial def could’ve been the sports arenas that come with the dlc. Especially since every time a team wins you get around 25k

If you look at my University, the University of Cape Town (UCT) you could get some ideas of how to incorporate the different schools into one greater-University of the city

I think that the city needs a farming district. Lots of food produced locally would mean not importing food, lowering the price for people to purchase food, and therefore everyone is happy. It is also an excuse to build lots of potatoes because I love potatoes. Additionally, using some of the green cities organic produce buildings to build a farmers market makes the city more sustainable.
Is there any type of astronomy tower building that you could put uptop the top plateau? I think that’d be a great fit, spite not being part of the campus buildings.. (given if there even is one.. or is it not possible to place bc of the campus limitations(?))

Have you done more work with your Districts? They may need tweaking after all the work you've done to them. Industrial Districts can make a lot of money. Also, you have way too many car parks in your city. You could replace them with other things.
