    Don't forget if you haven't set your pressurization panel to your final cruise level of FL380, that should be done prior to initiating the step climb.

    Shouldn't you use a low V/S for step climb to stop the engines spooling up so much?

      @FromStartupToShutdown  10 дней назад +1

      Yes with small altitude changes we should use the V/S Climb Mode instead , Thank you

    Thanks, but I have a question, Is there anyway to set the S/C into a specific waypoint as indicated in the OFP?

    • @FromStartupToShutdown
      @FromStartupToShutdown  6 месяцев назад +1

      The options you asked for as far as i know , is available only in B777,B747,B787 but not for B737

      Thanks for answering my question, in 737 I can do it manually, but I get the basics now from this video! Many thanks!!

    Does the T/D also change as well?

    I'm using the Zibo 737 so it might be different but on the CRZ page, there's no dotted line for me to put the next altitude on it.

    I see steps after certain waypoints on your flight plan. As long as you enter the step after passing the waypoints is that all that matters.?????

      No , you may need to watch this to get a clear idea on the S/C : ruclips.net/video/_Dopq_f9BW8/видео.html

    how do you schedule a step climb mine always says step climb now.

    • @FromStartupToShutdown
      @FromStartupToShutdown  Год назад

      If it says step now all times , you likely didn't plan your cruising altitude properly , did you use the Simbief OFP or just you are using random cruising altitude?

    • @vkobi8208
      @vkobi8208 Год назад

      @@FromStartupToShutdown that make sense i use the opt cruise. So if i use the Simbrief cruise alt it should schedule the step climb??

    • @FromStartupToShutdown
      @FromStartupToShutdown  Год назад

      @vkobi8208 Yes and keep in mind that Simbrief OFP will take in account the real weather conditions so if you'd like to have more realism with you S/C you need to use Active Sky or some thing similar for real weather injection in your FS. Cheers

      Nice video. When doing a step climb you also need to change the pressurization panel to the new altitude.
