I like the 2nd option; but I think you should maybe lay the cutlery on a napkin holder. it look lost laying on the bare table. The gold definitely breaks up some of the black and white.
Your guests will feel honored to sit at such a beautiful table.
I loved all three but the bling setting with the silver flatware the best. I love how you pulled all this together. I wouldn't have thought to do some of the things you did. Thank you for the inspiration.

I love that your husband had a favorite and even added the gold fork. But for me, I absolutely LOVE the black bling charger with the silver cutlery. This is beyond gorgeous!
Bling setting with the silver dinnerware. (Love that knife!) I believe the gold setting demands all the attention and takes away from the pumpkins, etc. But you know what? I absolutely love them all!! Change them out each week and make everyone happy!!

Great job Melanie! First, all three tablescapes were beautiful. My favorite is the clear with the gold. Accenting with the gold cutlery makes the tablescape "pop" and breaks up some of the black. But either way, you can not go wrong. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

The first one. Silver is it one. Gold throws it off a little. Just my opinion with beautiful either way. I loved it.
Loving this tablescape! So different and refreshing. I love that its not traditional, and my vote is for the clear charger with the gold setting
If I must choose... I like the black chargers with the silver setting. Not really a gold fan...sorry Melanie's hubby:) The table setting is gorgeous. Everything is nicely done.
Option 3 is my favorite. Those chargers are the business. Love it.

I agree with your husband! The gold pieces pick up the gold on the pumpkin, break up the black and white and add a visual component that can compete pleasingly with those two strong colors. I think the problem is in the chargers. I'm not really a fan of either the clear or the blinged chargers, but perfer the black charger with the bling over the clear. my reason for that is the bling provides a boundary between the black charger and the black background.

I tried a black one and it blended too much with the table and the plate... I also tried a gold one and it began to look too much like the tablescape that I created for New Year 2015.... Decisions and dilemmas... LOL! I think I gave myself too many options... LOL! Thanks for watching!!!

You always do an awesome job at decorating! I think the clear chargers with the gold silverware is the best. The clear chargers don't wash out the colors too much and the gold silverware help accent the gold in the pumpkins. Great job as always with your décor! God bless!
I agree with your husband because it brings everything together....and the blind charger ties in the crystals that you have on the table...I also think you should do some gold napkins on the plates...

Niiiiiiice! I like both options with the bling charger. I don't think the clear charger shows up well on the black table. If you want to be daring...use hubby's choice :) Just so many beautiful pieces you have adorning that table, enjoy your weekend and thanks for the shout out :)

I like the silver with the black studded charger. The gold draws your eyes to the gold which becomes your focal point then you see the rest of the beautiful items.

So creative! I like the black charger with rhinestones as it brings out your crystal candleholders and makes them sparkle. It also helps to prevent your charger from blending in with the table. I prefer the silver flatware to go with it.
Silver looks the best to me.
I know I m late seeing this. But I love it all. I would rock the silver first and then when you are ready for change rock the gold. I think the gold at the top is a great highlight and gets overwhelmed with the gold settings. You make me want to decorate my table. I change mine every season. GREAT JOB!

I could not see the difference between option 1 and 2. I never knew what to focus on, as there was so much for the eye to see. But the 3rd option with the silver cutlery was so much easier on the eye. Beautiful table, but do guests have a hard time seeing each other if they sit at the table to eat? Or are they exceptionally tall?
That was gorgeous. I use very colorful fall decor and I love it, but if I was to do something different, I'd do black and white. Its so classy!

You must have not watched the video in it's entirety..... Plates and name tags were both from the Dollar Tree and it was an UPCYCLE challenge... Meaning you make it look more expensive than it actually cost. Thanks so much for watching love.

I like the table decorations, but the title of the video is misleading.
Thanks for watching... Not sure how it is misleading... it was an upcycle... Meaning you make it look more expensive which I did with the plates and trees... Same concept as pairing nice shoes and handbag with less expensive clothing..
Heather Morton I agree, I was expecting a centerpiece for $5 with some recycled crafts lol, not a $50+ centerpiece. Still cute, just misleading.

Love it all!!!!!! Really like the bling!!! I love the gold cutlery with it because of the pumpkin tops and it shows up better even though the silver matches the chargers. I did find some gold bling at the Dollar General in the stationary isle so I may stud my chargers with that.
The gold...it gives some an extra bling and color. So adorable your husband interest in the decor of the table setting. I'm so ready to get the fall items out but the 90 degree weather here in Alabama makes want to keep them in the box.

I usually don't like a lot of items on the table. However, your table is the exception, because it is beautiful. The gold silverware really brings out the gold on the pumpkins. I like the clear plates with the gold silverware and the gold silverware with the bling plates. Personally I would go with the gold silverware and the clear plates because the table looks less cluttered.
