Right at 22:05 i'm interested in a measurement you didn't cover - what is the height from the folded down rear seats to the ceiling/glass? and from the lowest rear floor to the ceiling (not the opening which was 80cm, but before the opening right behind where the rear headrest would sit?

Tesla Model Y and VW ID 4 are not even in the same price range. I don't know why people are making comparisons. It's like comparing VW Jetta to Audi A6 just because they are both sedans and both have gas engines, and then saying Audi A6 is better.
I have set the rear trunk door to open up to a preset height. This works fine, but after operating the car then parking and exiting the vehicle. When I open the hatch via the remote, door switch, foot wave or by hand button. It opens half way and stops. I press the button on the door and it opens the rest of the hatch all the way up. I then Close it and attempt it again and all is fine. This happens after operating the car. I have tried re-adjusting the hatch opening many times but no luck. Any tips?
13:56: Did you show it at another time? For me it is interessting, because I have no clue if the direction of the folding mechanism matters. In other words: If you mount it and push the button, makes it a difference if it folds to the front or to the back? The manual doesn't loose a word about this, maybe stupid, question.
Hello, thanks for the interesting video! I've ordered an ID.4. I did not choose the pack with the motorized tailgate. It will be just a manual tailgate. Unfortunatly I realize that my garage is only 2m04 heigth under the opened garage door. Fully opened tailgate will probably touch the garagedoor. Can you measuere the tailgate max height when openend? Thanks!
Good question. Can the front passenger seat-back tip forward somewhat to provide a few more cm of length? Watched the whole video without finding an answer to this key question.
I use my VW Alltrack for camping when on the road. My height is 188cm and can sleep comfortably with the front seat fully forward. Will the ID.4 provide the same length?
@@rorywelburn9909 14:53, if you put the double floor down place it diagonal upwards to the rearlight it should fit.bit isn't flat, but without putting the rear seats down would say it's acceptabele

Yesterday I test drove the id3 . Great balanced car overall.
Then expect the same for the ID.4. Abit higher, but but the drive is solid. just abit bigger ;)
Please store the safety vest in the front. Ideally you can put them on before exiting the car.

Just received my id4 tech model and have found a 5th way to open boot - small button on rear wiper blade 😊

Where did you pull that jack from? Was it attached to the tailgate?
Does it have a sensor for the trunk? So it doesn't open in to the celling of a parkering garage?
thats a no, need to manually intervene (stop/press the button)

I have my puppy's crate which is 42"L x 28"L. Because of the wheels, i'm like an inch short. Does it fit by putting one of the seat flat?
This is so specific I really cant help with. Go to a dealer and ask if you can but the crate in the back?

A 204cm long package fitted just in with the front seat fully forward with the tailgate closed.. Diagonal you will even have more space
Question: can you open/close the boot from Inside with voice command?
