  • Amul made an extra 698 Crores during the lockdown, it did everything in the book to use the pandemic as an accelerator. For example, it began running its old ads alongside the reruns of Ramayana and Mahabharata on Doordarshan when it spotted a lot of viewers getting nostalgic about them, on their social media timelines. In this video, we explain how Amul did it?

      Hey Ganesh
I have a question and please recommend me a book and also a case study about how people accept the change at initial level .
For ex - response of people at packed milk when they are going with going with securing it from milkman.
Frozen food like fruits , vegetables and juice .
      Packed spices.
And many more I can relate here . So how can someone embrace with their new products which changed their behaviour.
What are the acceptable model of the society and the problem
I am working on some idea as same which totally different from current behaviour.
      Please light up .

All respects for Amul but the very fact the success of Amul and other brands has bought is that now around 50-60 percent of the Cow breeds used for dairy is either Holstein or Jersey boath A1 milk breeds which is not good for the body....and foreigners to Indian climate and environment and our own desi breeds A2 milk breeds are now on a standstill ..no major dairy farmers keep them....So Amul should commercialize the healthy A2 desi milk and bring it to the consumers

Beautiful research sir. Loved it. Howsoever a parallel reality always exists, just as you mentioned in the video, the decision ‘was a gamble.’ And we only study and give examples of the people/corporations/ideas/groups which end up bagging success over their decisions and outlooks opposite to the general norms in drastic times which makes a difference amongst them and the rest. Personally I have known a few startups which came up and disappeared into dust even with so much planning and resourcefulness - their gamble didn’t work up. But anyways, this video is a matter of pride for every Indian, that it’s none other than AMUL, that has made our routine quarantine worthwhile through their range of products. Also the happiest part was that the multimillion industry trying its best to help our Farmer community to sustain the pandemic. ❤️…may they continue to grow exponentially and continue to support the communities. Would always think of this video henceforth while buying any AMUL product.. thank you again for presenting this!

"Personally I have known a few startups which came up and disappeared into dust even with so much planning and resourcefulness" - I think a partial reason for this could be that Amul is already a well loved and established brand. So, while heading into a risky time like the Covid19 pandemic, they had better resources and a lot of history to take inspiration from. Newer companies wouldn't have had this privilege right? That being said, I think you're definitely correct about the parallel reality that exists.
