- We thought episode 5 of Moon Knight was amazing! BUT Episode 6 knocked it out the park! This episode was EPIC! Ammit officially was awoken, Layla got a HOT new suit, and Steven and Marc were reunited! Let’s just say episode 6 had A LOT going on!! Many questions were answered, and yet new questions were left lingering; could this mean season 2 is in the works?!

Marc & Steven don't know that Khonshu is still with them, since they're not fully aware of Jake yet.
Khonshu played his cards right. He promised he'd release 'both of you', nobody said anything about Jake, so he's keeping Jake to do his bidding.
Wait until Marc finds out...
Yeah we thought about it after like ohh man Khonshu played them both! He said "I will release you two but I didn't say anything about Jake" 😆😆
6:02 Osiris, the god of the deceased, allowed Marc and Steven to return. It was his temple they were heading to last episode to appeal to him for their return last episode, but to before they could even try to do that, Taweret told Marc and Steven that they would have to balance their scales.
6:34 Randall's death ruined Marc's life. His mother reminded him of it, made him believe that Randall's death was his fault; Marc lived with this on his mind for most of his life. Imagine making it to paradise, where you will live for an eternity, knowing that the only way you got their was sacrificing the person that helped you get there. Marc and Steven shared a home and parents, they were brothers. Steven filled the void Randall's death left.
8:22 this man is Osiris' avatar. While his avatar was dying, Osiris was busy working on a plan B, Marc and Steven. Ammit won the battle, but not the war.
14:39 this is likely what Marc sees when he dreams. He thought that he was insane, remember? His death proved to him that he isn't. Now that he's back and he and Steven are one, they defeated his doubt. That's my interpretation of this scene anyway. It isn't real, but something that is a linger thought from Marc's time in the afterlife and when he was in the throes of death.
14:48 Marc and Steven just knocked themselves out, which is just in time for the next scene =D
15:42 SPKTR is very likely a wordplay. Marc's surname is Spector, but Jake is the specter in Marc and Steven's lives. He's the one in the background always getting them out of trouble when they get in over their heads--the alps and in Cairo and Giza. Jake's been a specter throughout the whole series. He strolled in and out of the hospital like it was nothing, and I bet he won't be seen on any surveillance cameras either.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jake, like Steven, is based on a VHS character from Marc's youth. Steven is a brainy guy with a British accent because that's what Dr. Steven Grant was. Jake Lockley is very likely a Spanish speaking Jean Reno Leon (the Professional) type assassin. He probably came into existence the same time as Steven. Steven doesn't remember their abusive mother's behavior. What if Jake is the reason why? Jake likely took the beatings, helping Steven protect Marc's innocents, while Marc lived with the scars. Wendy Spector maybe the very reason why Jake is such a tank and why he hits like a truck.
Oscar deserves both an Emmy for best actor in a TV series and best supporting actor in a TV series. He killed this role! Ethan Hawke and the rest did an amazing job too. Everyone in this show needs to be recognized, I think. This series was so much fun and the best Disney Plus MCU story, IMHO. More of this please.
Apparently the showrunners for this are joining Loki season 2!
That would all make sense! We agree this show was amazing! We could def see the showrunners working on Loki! It is definitely top 2 for us (this and Loki)!
I’ve never got why people think that he showed up in the hospital. That was Marc the whole time, his accent has been like that the whole show. He gets a stronger twang when he’s in a stressful situation. Otherwise you could also say that it was Jake when they were in Stevens flat with Layla. When he was dissuading Steven from showing Layla the Scarab. He spoke Spanish during the end credit so he’s probably not American and may not even speak English. This show apparently changed Steven’s character a lot from how he was in the comics so I wouldn’t put it past them if they decide to change Jakes character as well.
I haven't watched too many Marvel shows, but this is definitely my favourite one hands down. Amazing reaction as always! Digging the Black Panther Comic Trademark poster, curious what show you'll react to after this or if you'll use this free time to open up more episodes of shows you are already working on.
We have enjoyed the Marvel Disney+ shows a lot so far! This one is definitely up there for us! Thanks for the compliment on the Black Panther poster, gotta try and remember where we got it from 🤔we are going to focus on AoT and try and get back into All Of Us Are Dead.
