What a spectacular series! I honestly knew nothing at all about Moon Knight going into this. I think this is the best series from Marvel/D+ so far. Oscar Isaac was astonishing and moved between the personalities so distinctly! I want to see more of May Calamawy as Layla/Scarlet Scarab. Her costume reveal was so freakin' cool!

Jake is an amnesiac Alter, so neither Marc nor Steven are aware of him. Also, Jake is so ruthlessly brutal that there is no way that Disney+ could show how violently he fights without going to an R rating.

Oscar Isaac deserves Emmys for best actor and supporting actor. Has anyone ever one both before in the same year? Ethan and Layla deserve something too. Everyone that was part of this did such a great job. The only thing I take issue with was Mandarin speaking scene, but aside from that, everything else was great for me. Jake was always there in the beginning, Jake took punishment/pain.....He was the protector of the three....Steve never protected- Jake did.....Jake was the harden one from their attacks. Khanchu knew from the beginning .... Also Harrow because of being the avatar....he left because he wanted justice quicker than Khanchu- so he went to Croc deity.
Since Layal considers Tawaret to be a "temporary" avatar I'm really hoping she'll become the avatar for Khepri the scarab and morning sun aspect of Ra. It'd make so much sense for her to be the Sun to Marc as the Moon.
This was a good finale. A bit rushed here and there, especially after last week, but I cried again when Marc rejected paradise for Steven. Them together is so good, and how seamless one switched to the other later, wow. I NEED a second season. I still have questions. Is Layla living with them??? And of course the whole mid credit scene....wow. I mean we knew it, but Konshu is a dick. Seriously. The moment he promised Steven to let them both go, I knew he was holding on to Jake.
Yep hes cunning and manipulative. Wonder how long he's uses Jake now too. I feel like Layla is sticking to Egypt, probably to help rebuild after Harrows attack
I'm not judging this by episodes... I'm judging the entire series as one. This show could've easily been in theaters and would've done well. Phenomenal acting from Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, Excellent writing and directing as well.🏆
I've said before but what if Jake is Shadow Knight? In the comics, Marc's brother takes up the role of Khonshu's champion in here he's dead dead. He ain't coming back. Plus, his age difference. We know Marvel likes switching things around. This series alone was built on that. Jake being Moon Knight wouldn't get Layla's reaction she's seen him as that. What if Shadow Knight is Jake's suit when he changes? Jake would be operating in Marc and Steven's mind aka like their dark shadow. Just a thought.
The only member of the Midnight Sons that there has been no announcement on is Ghost Rider. We got Moon Knight, Blade, Werewolf, Elsa Bloodstone, and Man-Thing coming to the MCU this year. Black Knight has already been teased.

Marvel is now marketing this as a season finale. I am crossing my fingers for a season 2.
