Um, it would depend on the person using the computer. I have a Macbook Pro 2011 and I used mac OS High Sierra. It used to work just fine, I would have no complications. So it basically depends on the user.
The problem i have is i already erased my disc and when i went to do this it only let me put on sierra or one of those new ones because that's what it thinks my computer came with but i have a OS 9 Mavericks 2012 mac. But oh well, now i can never go back to it. Wont let me.
@@parthpatel4269 The issues is if you wipe your dive and install then that is now the one it thinks is your original so you can't do your trick. It doesn't work.
Javier Rubíes sorry at the moment I don’t have the exact link to download the dmg to Mountain Lion OS. But as soon as I find the link I will share it to everyone.
Try restarting the Mac. If the problem still occurs then you will have to speak to an Apple worker, or you can contact the apple support team. They will surely be able to help you with this.
Ryan, if you want to downgrade then it will erase all of your data. You will have nothing left. But unless you back up all your data on an external hard drive you can save your data then import it back in once you have successfully downgraded your OS. Hope that helps. 👌
when I press these keys it gives me the only option to install his Sierra although I'm 2010 Mac and the original os that came with is snow Leopard,i can not get back to snow leopard
From Macintosh 10.16 i think to original firmware from that came with the Mac which is lion . But when’s it goes to install , it loads about 1/3 then it says install error
TechHelp thanks for replying so fast. There is no macintosh however. Since i upgraded it to a 2TB and split it into 2 partitions. Should i repartition it into 2 again? And one more thing, if i deleted all the data from my drivers, when i restore using Time Machine, will all the applications be functional or do i have to reinstall them again?
Yasmin Devan No problem. I haven’t really need extra storage on any IMac I have, so I wouldn’t want to give u the wrong info. So you should ask apple themselves. Link: support.apple.com/mac/imac This link should help you, and give u answers to all of your questions.
Amy williams ok so here is what u have to do 1. Revert to El Capitan 2. Then get all of the other is in order to update till you get the one you want Say you want sierra then you will have to download all of the OS before it to get to that
Out of all the 1,0022 videos I watch yours did the job! I was able to reinstall OS X. It took me 3days to find your video. You’re awesome!

If I will downgrade macOS Catalina will I lost all of my files?
Okay so I’m stuck on lion. You said to repeat, but you did not specify what to repeat to get to another os I’m in os X. What steps do I repeat?

Will all the time machine data still be accessible when its been downgraded?
It seems it won't. I did a clean install of High Sierra, my TM was from Mojave and I couldn't do any migration. I might have done it wrong though.
Israel Botello
They changed the file system from what I understand and I'm wondering if that could be your problem.
I tried this 3 times on my 17" 2010 MBP and it keeps reverting to Hi Sierra ????
So what you have to do is follow the how to down grade for any Mac OS that will help you with any OS you want.
If it doesn't work then that means that is the OS that is in your Mac
